When overworked nurse Romina (Lora Burke) gets back home from another way too long shift, she learns that a bloody stranger (Nick Smyth) has attacked her landlord (Colin Paradine) in her kitchen. Chris wants to kill him for assaulting his daughter. Coincidentally, Romina just treated said daughter in the hospital. Then, three masked men show up and want to kill everyone. Co-directors and writers Gabriel Carrer and Reese Eveneshen then change things up by putting the three characters we've already met against the three maniac masked bikers and everything gets quite messy and eyes pay the price for all the sin they've seen. Sure, there are plenty of home invasion movies, but this is 80 tight minutes and has some real moments of drama from Lora Burke, who plays Romina. There's also a great moment in the beginning as she starts taping up the bloody landlord all while trying to calm her son down on the phone, showing not only her mothering instinct, but just how she can control a situation. It's a skill she'll need if she wants to survive this night.

Unchained bull of hell-o-ween mayhem, and if you have a mickey probe connected to your guts, or have reduced your ventrikkuly size to become a slimmer and nicer person it maybe a competitive enhancement for you, because this is a very violent gore and with blood up to your ears kind of horrific violence that seems to never end, all because of mistaken identity from a man that wants revenge over his beloved daughter that were kidnapped and killed 5 years earlier. So now all laymen out there you have the chance to switching on this film, youre warned, this is not an innocent teenage sprawl halloween flick, its murders and decapitative behavioural issues en masse'. But by all means, with a revengeful story comes usually a good rewarding feeling , my feeling though is bland and the plot is drawn to the limits of what my countrys censorship board would allow at the movie theater. This said ive come to the conclusion that the film aint bad at all, all that blood and stunning visual violence needs good planning and extremely good make up artists. The fights in very small living spaces is just jawbreaking, and its no wonder the hammerhead hits something it shouldnt when living life like sardines in a box. When So said its not a screenplay that will enhance the actor, rather the opposite, they do a sadistic sosiopathic impression to me and if it hadnt been for the relatively calm serendipitously placed woman that tries to phatom what the heck is happening in her home at this halloween evening this would have been far from the number 7( a number that is pretty symbolical for this film, 7 deaths, 7 blows etc...). So lora burke does her job as an actor, and does handle the situation as a proffesional nurse at all levels(im a nurse myself...). So if you can stand the visuals of a bloody ordeal, or how to let your kids paint the kitchen red with non other tools than a gun , a dagger, and a clawhammer, then have a look for the sake of visciousity, its starts in a halloweenistic way but ends as shocking as ''class of 1984'' did. The grumpy old man didnt have any erotic moments, had a few giggles though due to the maddening behaviour by the intruding occupants, there are some sound issues, and very low dialouge sound vs score and sound effects that will wake up your better half if sneak peeking the laptop under your bed blankets. I give this a recommend for what it is, instantanious violence at all parts and never a moment of relaxation, im still numb...

Here's another 1,5 hour I'll never get back... There's way too much over-acting - especially from the woman and the male lead. How is it possible to shoot-up and trash an entire home without anyone from the outside intervening or calling the police!? It's Halloween, FFS! During the movie, when the two leads are talking outside, we even see neighbors outside right next to the house!? At the end of the movie, when the little girls are trick or treating, people are even walking right by the house!? The different fighting scene are obnoxious as well. You're stabbed several times with a knife, but still you manage to crawl around or walk around banging people in their heads!? It's a waste of time - 100%!

A true slasher we all enjoy. There wasn't that much of a plot but does it really matter when it's a blood and violence through and through? Characters are depicted well, there is a story and nonstop slasher action for the entire duration of the film. Actors did a good job. Directed great. Not much to say except, if you're a slasher fan, DEFINITELY gives this a watch. 6/10.

I'm sorry but sure, this had the potential to be an awesome movie, yet it is set up the most boring way possible. They start out by making the female "lead" super unlikable, how you ask? By her taking half of the candy from bowl in a hospital where she works that was meant for the patients, that I guess wont be able to go trick or treating cause they are at the hospital (its Halloween), she does this with a smile on her face and not a care in the world. After that the movie turns into one long tedious movie about a guy that thinks someone did something terrible to his daughter, yet the movie don't want us to know anything, instead they spend an unbelievable amount of time looking at each other saying nothing (the 3 main characters), the main "villain" never says anything other than "I didn't do it" until the last 10 min where he suddenly says "he did it"... Really? Is that the payout you giving someone spending 80 mins watching your movie? No deeper explanations, no tricks like she was in on it or something clever NOTHING... I give it 3 stars because the action was decent when it finally happened, but other than that this movie is seriously boring story wise there is nothing to come for.

Romina (Lora Burke) is an emergency room nurse. She comes home to find Chris (Nick Smyth ) and Alan (Colin Paradine ). Alan is her landlord. Chris believes he is the man who raped his daughter on circumstantial evidence. Alan is beat up and Chris asks Romina to keep him alive. She was the nurse who treated his daughter. Alan manages to make a phone call to goons to come get theses two. They come in waves as we watch a nurse and Chris fight off intruders and a biker gang. The film was fighting for the sake of fighting. Romina had to be out of character for a long period of time for this to work, watching as Alan gets beaten. It was amazing how people can keep fighting stabbed in the side, arm, and having both knee caps blow off without being Sylvester Stallone. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

There is plenty here for the genre fan, though the film is pretty minimalist---it packs a wallop in tension and violence, and surely not the implied type. Its streamlined to focus on one storyline arch and what almost seems "end boss" fight sequences that keep coming. Fun, bloody and violent, as the title surely reveals. If you like Gareth Edward's style, you'll like this one.

Great acting and camera uses, the elements are great but the storyline sucks it does not have any moral to the story. The rest is great only the backbone of the movie is just not there pity could be so much more.

It felt like the actors were trying so hard to act but no one ever really could pull it off. I was getting into the woman's role in the beginning but then she freed the bad guy and I lost all respect for her after that. The action scene felt like they were based on pure luck and not skill. The only thing that had me impressed was the throats being slit, those looked very real. I just don't see how when they edit movies and go back and watch them they don't say "Wow, that is some horrible acting". Oh well, to each their own. I would not recommend and will not be seeing this one ever again.
