Just horrible. There's not much more to say about this. But IMDb has a five-line minimum for reviews, so I have to fill it up with something here. I guess I can add that there's some sort of message in there somewhere, about participation trophies and taking responsibility for one's actions. But it's buried so far beneath unfunny dick jokes (yes, there is such a thing) and crass, endless swearing that was added just for the sake of swearing. I never thought I would say this, but this may actually be a worse movie than "Grown Ups". Incredible. Final words: You will be better off spending your time watching paint dry, and don't ever consider paying money for this garbage.

Seriously, don't waste your money, time, energy! You can do something more useful like starring into a wall! This movie is Not Funny! It was painful to watch, i would never have my time back! Charlie Day is not funny! He is annoying. I have seen several movies of him. His acting is annoying, his voice is annoying, his body language is annoying. I can't even write a proper review about this movie since i see it as a waste of time! How could this move get 5.4 rating is beyond me! Awful!

They often say if a comedy can be horribly written, but if you at least make me laugh, then all is forgiving, and Fist Fight did just that. Fist Fight is a bad movie, but it knows it's a bad movie and it milks it for all it's worth, has well the actors in the movie. A match up between Ice Cube and Charlie Day pretty much tells you how insane this gonna get. But I gotta say I was entertained through out, Cube give quite a crazy funny performance, Day is really funny also, not playing his usual annoying performance that where used to seeing, In one scene I felt he was about to go there but stops himself. Jillian Bell was also quite engaging has a schools guidance counselor who's kind of a pot head, she's like Rebel Wilson from How to be Single only funny and not annoying. And Tracy Morgan, well there is not much more to say there, he's just being Tracy Morgan. It really brings you in the insanity of it's comedy, and if you are not a fan of it, then stay away. I liked it, would I sit through it again, probably not, if I sit through it to many more times, I may end up hating it.

Weak comedy, the kind that doesn't bother with a script and just hopes the stars do the heavy lifting. Charlie Day and Ice Cube play two teachers at a super shitty high school. After Ice Cube flips out on a student, Day tattles on him and gets him fired. Cube challenges him to a fist fight after school, and Day, a little wimp, will do everything in his power to avoid it. Day and Cube do the stuff they pretty much always do, not getting many laughs in the process. Some of the supporting players fare better, with Jillian Bell winning the vast majority of the film's laughs as a dunder-headed, drug-addicted guidance counselor who would rather be boinking the students than guiding them. Tracy Morgan also has a couple of funny gags as a gym teacher, and Dean Norris and Kumail Nanjiani are okay as the principal and a security guard respectively. I have no clue what the heck Christina Hendricks is doing here. She has a couple of weird moments that don't land at all. The film has enough laughs that it won't end up on my year-end worst-of list or anything, but I doubt I'll remember it whatsoever when I wake up tomorrow.

"When one school teacher gets the other fired, he is challenged to an after-school fight." The plot pretty much sums up the whole idea of the movie. There's no twists and turns involved, it's all pretty much straight forward. The most important question is: Does it work? To be honest...not really! Charlie Day plays Andy Campbell, a man with a daughter and a pregnant wife. He's classified as the "*" kind of teacher in the film. Then we have Ice Cube, a man who is so strict, so nasty, so hateful and has a history of shooting and bashing people nonstop. The movie really want you to be intimidated by him, but instead he comes across as someone you just hate. You have other actors like Tracy Morgan, Dean Norris and Jillian Bell. Each and every character either swear and cuss like crazy, yell or talk about crude stuff. I guess if it's well thought out and it's well written it can work, but in this case it just doesn't work. They kept trying to get humour out out of every character yelling and cussing at each other, and it just isn't funny. Sometimes it didn't even feel like a script was even written. It's like all the actors were left just to improvise the entire film. Again, it just doesn't work! Charlie Day and Ice Cube do the best they can with a horrible screenplay and a horrible director. It's obvious the director (Richard Keen) just had no idea what to do. I feel sorry for everyone involved, because not even their improvisation could save the entire film. Good news is there are a few gags here and there, and the finale fist fight (which goes for 5:12 secs) is actually quite well done. But we would say skip this movie. At best The Autistic Reviewers (Jay And Nick) say rent it. That's all this film is worth. It just ain't worth it. 3/10 1.5/5 stars. The Autistic Reviewers.
