Father and Son is definitely one of the most personal and touching movies of past years. It gives you everything you would expect from movie like this, it explores loneliness and midlife crisis by showing us heard worming but difficult relationships between father and son, who love each other but never express and show that. The movie perfectly shows how distant and lonely both characters are. Father and Son has amazing atmosphere which includes notes of depression and light of hope. The movie is well crafted, amazingly directed and written. At the end of the day you don't see such touching movies often, so I highly recommend this movie and think that it is a best chapter in Philip Frahm's career so far.
