The acting is atrocious. The story is predictable, the music is currently overriding the sound of their voices. I'm finishing this movie, only because I started it, but don't waste your time. Think of a romantic movie ending, and it's that. *Edit: That french accent is ridiculous and made me want to fight.

The acting, directing, and the plot are pretty good, but one thing bothered me so much I couldn't get past it. The chefs never once wore a toque, a cap, or beard covering. It just creeped me out. What is a Christmas chef movie without toques?

Very boring movie. I think they wrote it for kids to watch for there is no way any adult will love this movie. Please respect the mind of the audience. Two people dating break up like nothing happened, and chef given 24 hours to make a dish and need last seconds. Don't know how many stupid things there is in one movie. At least the actors tried to make it possible but what to do if the script is just bad so they are not to blame.

The concept was cute but this movie has some of the worst acting I have seen in a very long time. The accents were terrible for the various characters. The two main characters should have just gotten jiggy with it in one of the many kitchens they were in. At least that would have been hot. The 6.5 stars is very very generous.

Watched it and loved it, they did a good choice with the filming location and the actors too. I personally loved the cooking and the food part it makes me want to travel to the place and explore but unfortunately i dont know the location.

This is a so-so rom-com. I am only doing this review to respond to all the reviewers complaining about the closed captioning. I just watched this on tubi and no problems with the CC. This is a standard rom-com with you knowing exactly what's going to happen. The cast was attractive & pleasant.

I watched this movie as I like what I read from its synopsis. But what the synopsis never tells is how the movie's end result would be like. The movie had potential, but acting by some of the main characters were wooden at best. The worst by far is by the main male lead. He came across trying too hard to play the part, and trying to look cool, which he didn't accomplished in my opinion. The rest did a good job. The editing could have been a little better. It just lacked some atmosphere in some areas, and there were pockets moments which I believe were meant to be more intimate but came across being boring instead. VERDICT: It's not that terrible a movie. If you can ignore the male lead's acting efforts and it's a nice feel-good movie. Perfect for these times.

We don't want others to feel as tortured as we were, so buyer beware. Enough cheese coupled with bad acting to make you want to throw up. Scripting was predictable as if a teenager wrote. Save yourselves and hour and half of life you'll never get back!
