I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I think lot of people didn't understood the movie or the ending ( Unless I misunderstood the movie) Either way I liked the movie. If you have good imagination you will love the movie.

This is a low budget film that is almost all dialog set in a cab. It's also one of the best movies I've seen in the last w years. Lot of tension and mystery and lots of emotion.

My interpretation of the ending is that Eric set up the scenario of Patrick being killed so that he could win his wife back..... Or at least that's what I thought happened, but there is no evidence for that, since the film ended with Eric bleeding to death. I was just sure that Eric set it up as soon as Patrick gets killed. The fact that they showed the first passenger walking down the sidewalk at the very end of the film, could mean that HE (the guy who was talking with Eric about love) help set up Patrick's death with Eric, with Eric not really bleeding at the end....... But it's real thin, that theory.. I guess Eric really was

Eric Hollister (Thomas Torrey, writer, director, music, editor) drives an "Uber" style cab. He is having difficulties with his marriage of 10 years and talks to his passengers in a manner that would make them feel border line uncomfortable. By chance he picks up Patrick (J.R. Adduci) who happens to be having an affair with his wife. He gets his wife (Katherine Drew) into the vehicle also and then...we get an ending that seemingly has no closure. The key to understanding the film is the long conversation he has with another passenger (Pat Dortch). While there are hints. The film is done so it is not apparent. Might take a second viewing. The production takes place in the fictional town of Chester (filmed in Charlotte). The action is all inside the car. Even scenes that take place outside the car, are filmed from the inside. It is a drama/psychological thriller with all the action concentrated in the final few minutes. Thomas Torrey wears on you after a while, like he does his passengers. I would say the film was well done for what it was, provided you understood it. However, a well scripted, decently acted film is not always entertaining if we are basically looking at the same faux-leather interior for 75 minutes as we wait for something to happen and then when it does, it is off screen. Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity. Thank you Sloan Stewart for cleavage shot.

Although it's a low budget, for those of you who like psychological thrillers this movie will be more than interesting. It introduces some provoking ideas, it is very well scripted with great dialogue and actors. Makes you think about it for a long time, which surely is what good movie is about.

Totally unexpected final, good dialogues and scenes. The movie goes through some really interesting topics that worth's discussing, Like for example the one abut marriage and love. In general the movie keeps you interested in it and has a good soundtrack. Maybe a film for a rainy day.

Spoiler. First of all the driver knew that the passenger he picked up had been sleeping with his wife. He then precedes to pick her up too and they all go on a drive down a secluded road all the while he is enraged that their marriage seems to be coming to an end. Was I the only one who found it bizarre he chose a road with a dead end. Or that someone would play dead on a secluded road almost as if they knew he was coming. I think the husband meant to kill them both especially after he said 911 didn't pick answer after he announced her lover was dead and went on to ask if she wished it were him. I saw a bit of psycho in him. At the end he seemed to casual when the guys tried to run them off the road.He had a gun and made little effort to even use it on them. Thats why I believe the husband had it all planned.

especially if you mean very low budget. this is almost like a art school film that was unintentionally better than a lot of films you see in the theater. it's not got the glitz of a high budget extravaganza but it's thought provoking and it's interesting and my buddy actually wanted to watch it all the way through which is a rarity!

I don't normally watch psychological thrillers, but this was a bit Rod Serling-esque and made my heartbeat speed up, kept me wanting to look away and watch at the same time--which was helped by the suspenseful music. Good acting. Torrey is obviously a versatile artist, doing everything from the writing/directing and acting to the editing. This film is a great example of what can be done with a small budget in terms of storytelling and filmmaking as it took place entirely inside the confines of a car. I also appreciated the tip of the hat to C.S. Lewis at the very end of the credits. Well done.
