I did cry at the end, because a couple who lost a baby, didn't give birth to it. The mother didn't even look pregnant. Magically, though, they had a tombstone for the unborn kid and visited it at the end. Then that was the end of the film. They showed this couple all of 20 seconds in the beginning. Then we see another family 16 years later. So you don't know that it is a different family. You think it's the same family. The first scene is an entire sermon. This eats up so much time. Then the main character has a phone call with the pregnant teen. I swear they were talking because she said she was pregnant. So how did she know this girl from the city? Then the phone goes dead because the pregnant teens father cut it off. That plot went nowhere. They even met weeks later and didn't recognize each other. They could have shown a teen pregnancy home or something but that plot seemingly went nowhere. This movie ends in sorrow. There were so many things left out of this film. Redo it. I have never left a bad review. But someone fell asleep or got in a rush with this one. The budget is huge. The sound is off in the sings. The girl clearly isn't playing piano. Just redo this film. Also, I clicked to watch this, thinking there some girl singing into a field at that golden sunset hour with curled hair but this never happens. Ever.

The message of their movie was good but the acting was atrocious. My high school plays had better acting than this movie.

"Faith" was a little too perfect to be human, but she did show kids how to act as Christians, how to help others, and she never gave up. At the beginning of the movie, I would have disguised the identity of Faith's aunt and uncle losing their unborn baby, so that it wasn't revealed till Faith came to them that they were the couple who lost the baby. Faith really had a singing talent, and Uncle Roger did his God-rejecting role really well. I really loved the handicapped neighbor (I'm also disabled) who prayed for Faith. The song editing was kinda bad, and some actors were very stale, but in all it was a good effort.

While watching Faith's Song it occured to me that what this film was copying was the classic Pollyanna. Sure as I'm sitting at the keyboard writing this review this film channeled the silent classic that Mary Pickford did and the later sound remake that Disney did with Hayley Mills. Young Hayden Grace McCoy plays the title role and she and her parents are believers. McCoy is happiest when singing and she's got a good voice for contemporary Christian music. But her parents are killed in a car crash and she goes off to live with other relatives. She doesn't have it easy being the new girl and can't understand why she's put through these trials. But Faith's faith sees her through. McCoy is a good singer, but for the acting in the film, strictly amateur hour. Not just McCoy the whole cast. I wonder what Hayley Mills would think if she saw this.

Although the basis of the movie is supposed to be uplifting and show a test of faith, the acting was sooooo horrible I could barely get through it. I also found it to be broken and unrealistic.

This movie touched my whole family, it was genuine, and an example of how we all should be, to let our light shine and let God work through us and even in tragedy, He is always there. Can't say enough good things about it, it's a must see!

The acting in this movie is impeccable. Every part is so good even the part of the car crash where they run in the hospital. The singing is the best raw singing I've ever heard. Overall ten out of ten.

I found the film to be beyond delightful, taking the viewer through a journey that begins with tragedy and ends with victory. Just a word, however, about some previous reviews I spotted that were critical of the quality of acting, script, or the like. The enduring beauty of a film cannot always be measured in terms of acting prowess or an A+ script. Often the more memorable (and best) films are those that deeply convey the plight of the human spirit, that is, overcoming life's tragedies and challenges. 'Faith's Song' is one such film. It's a Christian film. True, some may find the acting quality less than Red Carpet material, but overall, the cast did a splendid job with observable commitment to projecting the film's message. 'Faith's Song' contains a powerful message of faith (no pun intended), hope, redemption, and illustrates the life-changing power of the gospel message. I urge you: watch the film with an open mind and heart. You won't be disappointed, and you might even find inspiration. I hope that is the case.
