This movie isn't even on Rotten Tomatoes; that should've been my first clue. Note to self: don't ever watch another movie without reading the reviews.
The characters were increasingly self absorbed, clueless and acted like they barely graduated high school, let alone college. What valedictorian takes a marketing job without knowing what the job entails? Who moves into her friends' living room and leaves it strewn with trash and junk every day? What job placement agency asks questions like "what part of a cheeseburger would you be"? Who puts off (for at least a month) opening a graduation gift from a beloved mother who's been dead for 11-12 years? What college boyfriend of 3 years dumps his girl, goes backpacking with friends, comes home and then somehow gets engaged to a middle school girlfriend a month after he broke up with his college girlfriend? Who gets through college without knowing how to make coffee?
And with a word like faith in the title, I suppose it should come as no surprise (although it did to me) that there's a very strong religious message permeating throughout the entire film, including the music. I'm not opposed to religion, especially when it's included with a lot more subtlety (as in Hallmark's far better movies). There were a few nice moments, and I was interested in the "life after college" premise, but the religious message overwhelmed the rest of the movie and was delivered in a pretty heavy handed way. And the completely unrealistic "everything has a way of working out" ending, without having the characters actually work things out in a way that doesn't completely undercut their legitimate grievances a was just ridiculous. Back to the agency? Back to Josh? Really?? Ugh.

Loved the story and locations. I am an Asbury graduate. Lived in Gilmore eight years. Know the locations in Lexington. Good wholesome movie dealing with life after college. Have watched it a few times and see new details.

Just about everything about this movie is horrible. The acting was horrendous. The writing and dialogue were stilted. And the plot? Yikes. I should have been warned when I saw "Faith" in the title. An absolute waste of time. I got about 2/3rds of the way through, but when the older woman hires the young girl and starts spewing a bunch of religious claptrap, I said "UNCLE!" and bailed. If you're looking for a preachy, sappy movie about finding God, then you might enjoy it.

A beautiful faith based coming of age story that I as a millennial could relate to! Being thrown into the real world after college is daunting but this movie kinda shines light onto how faith and love can be a guiding factor during a tumultuous transition period in our lives.
