My roomies and I love zombie movies. We have seen our fair share. This one hits all the right notes and gives you even more character buy in. I found myself rooting for the family. I did this the quality and cinematography was great as well. Kudos to making a little go a long way!

If you are looking for a Zombie only romp, think again or just think in general, this film has a metaphor at its core, unlike the films it is compared to at a fraction of a fraction of the budget. See if you can find the subtext, Enjoy the acting, cinematography and effort. Overall this film is an inspiration and a good watch. Complaining there isn't enough action or zombies, is like saying the party is over because we are out of coors light ;-)

Cheesy acting by the kid. Didnt buy it. With a different actor as the kid might have been watchable.

I enjoy the typical survivor/zombie flick. I initially thought this was going to be like a dark action thriller, but it's more dramatic and intimate, but in a good way. The characters and performances are probably the best aspect- it feels indie, but I found myself in the zone regardless of that indie-scale. The music was quite good as well and probably what really helped bring this together and make it feel well-rounded. I do wish it had more action, for sure. That's one area I wish it just banged a little harder on- more action and a little bit bigger scope. All in all though, I'm cynical about most films and this was significantly better than I expected to be and an enjoyable watch.

I don't really right many reviews so this will be short. For a Zombie movie I liked it. I see lots of movies and though the movie beats can remind you of A quiet place it isn't . For a movie not in theaters ATM it it is suspenseful and has some interesting thrills to keep a lot of people guessing. For me it was time well spent.

It is always so impressive to me when film makers can make an amazing film on a small budget. This film packs all the punches and excitement from start to finish! So impressed with what these film makers have accomplished!

FEAR is an acronym for Forget Everything And Run. Despite the ominous title, this is not another by the books horror film but rather something much deeper and perhaps more chilling. It is a study of how ordinary people in extraordinary situations deal with desperation, isolation and yes, fear. What writer, co-director and star, Jason Tobias has created here is a tense tale of unnerving suspense as two families clash in a brutal struggle for survival in a wintry wilderness. The separation from society in this dark setting makes for an apocalyptic feel where the creatures that hunt them may not be the biggest threat. There are plenty of chills, scares and intense scenes yet ultimately the film is a powerful, character driven drama with well written dialogue and a strong cast taking us on a journey that compels you to forget for a moment that this is a movie and allows you to care for and identify with these people and what motivates them. There are some stunning visuals that brilliantly elevate the mood, especially the sense of dread. But elevating it above other films like this is its heart and the emotions and questions it inspires. And ultimately, how you perceive the acronym for FEAR. Easily one of the best films I've seen in quite some time!

Once again, after sifting through the bogus reviews that rate this a TEN I found myself asking "What do these people watch?" It's certainly not the movie they're reviewing.
This is not Gone with the Wind, or Citizen Kane, but it is watchable. It's your basic Zombie format that hasn't changed much since Night of the Living Dead. It differs only in the character build up. You want this family to survive. Points for that.
Watch it when you're in the mood for a Zombie movie, and you'll get more out of it. Otherwise you'll be disappointed.

You had me at Zombies, but this movie had so much more. The storyline keeps the viewer interested the entire movie, not just a bunch of action right away to hook you and then bore you the rest of the movie. It warms you up and gets you ready for what's to come! Acting and overall production are on point.
