Acting in general is very poor, however, Jennifer Coolidge is good in this and stands Head and Shoulders way above the other actors!.
I confess to not having seen Amber Heard in many movies, except Aquaman in '17 or' 18 and one or two other movies.
Certainly in this She could have stayed home!. Her acting (as we must call it) is dreadful and much like the remainder of the cast, one finds oneself hoping the scene will end soon, the sooner the better!.
Heather Graham is also poor in her part and much like Heard, both look like deer caught in the headlights.
To conclude, I gave this 5 out of 10.
None of which is for script writing, direction or production.
As stated above the acting is very poor, some might say career ending in fact.
I gave 5 out of 10 simply because of the acting quality of Jennifer Coolidge, who IMHO held this movie together on her own!.

Alex (Heather Graham) gets laid off. She breaks up with her boyfriend after catching him sleeping with another woman. She punches a guy for trying to take a blouse she wants to buy. She's sentenced to 12 months in group therapy. Stella (Jennifer Coolidge), Nikki (Amber Heard), and Kim (Joey Lauren Adams) are some of the others in the women's group. Stella hires Alex to be her accountant. Alex rejects lascivious tax auditor Hutt and he starts stalking her. Kim is abused by her husband. Stella, Nikki, and Alex follow him after one such incident and end up ramming him off a cliff killing him. Police detective Dan investigates the case. He recognizes Alex from school and they start dating. Stella and Nikki start wrecking havoc against the men of Texas.
Despite having a couple of pretty funny actors, this indie lacks big laughs. These are beautiful women with varying comedic skills. The material is where this movie falls short. Neither director John Inwood and writer Suzanne Weinert are that experienced. The writing lacks good jokes. Inwood is a functional TV director. The basic premise has potential for a black comedy but the writing is not funny enough.

This is a chick comedy, but not a "chick flick." It is a comedy women would enjoy more than men, but also one men can enjoy. I would rate it four and a half stars. Heather Graham (Alex)gets fired from her job and comes home early to find her boy friend with another woman (relationship over). She has some penned up frustrations. While out shopping for a blouse, a man takes the one she wants to buy. When he refuses to let her have the blouse, she knocks him out, something the movie claims is illegal in Texas. At her court mandated anger management class she meets up with other angry women. One of which is Jennifer Coolidge (Stella) who runs an exterminator company and Nikki (Amber Heard) who is a dental technician who sucks on lolly-pops during most of the movie, when she is not drinking or smoking. The girls meet at a dive bar after group therapy to kick back a few. Nikki, who looks adorable, has some real issues and decides to handle men (a-holes) by giving them what they deserve. At one point in the movie she sets a drunk on fire who has been patting women on the butt.
Alex is hired by Stella to look over her books as she is being audited. As it turns out the IRS agent is a stalker who sneaks around and takes photos of Heather. Meanwhile at the bar, a woman from the group is punched in the face by her drunk husband (movie shows her getting hit and going to the floor). Our aforesaid trio follows the drunk husband by car and runs him off the road (and perhaps the only cliff in Texas) to his fiery death. The girls decide to be quiet about the whole incident, which is later ruled an accident. Heather, who watches "Law and Order" comes up with the proper alibi that police can't verify is a lie. Later Heather starts to date the detective investigating the death and murders in the city. After another man dies, Heather suspects her girlfriends kill more than bugs.
Amber Heard as Nikki was the most colorful character in the group. Her attitude and lines were the best, especially the story she tells about how she paid for her prom dress. No nudity. Adult situations and the f-bomb. AMBER! AMBER! AMBER!

So let me say this clearly, this movie isn't a classic, it's not a great movie and the story is bit ordinary BUT this is a fun movie to watch.
The story really starts with 3 drunken women following the violent boyfriend of one of their friend and ending up causing him to die in a car crash... Then the word gets out and their start a business of killing ''jerks'' what bothers me about that is you never know for sure if the guy really is a jerk of if the girl is just insane and in the end the 3 girls get away with several murders as the main character marries a cop... which makes for a funny very naive story good for people who doesn't ask too much questions and don't mind some not quite guilty people getting killed or a good Sunday afternoon movie. I wouldn't even say that women who lived with real jerks would find any echos of their feelings in that movie, so if you decide to watch it watch it for what it is a not so dark comedy with a weak story but enjoyable to watch.

"EXterminators" explores the possibility that if you put a bunch of angry, violent women, in the same room, something bad might happen. In fact something worse than bad happens to cheating husbands, as a four legged pest control business becomes the front for "two legged vermin" extermination. Although the outrageous screenplay of"EXterminators" is fertile ground for "black comedy", only occasional scenes display dark humor, the best being shopping for lethal weapons, while casually discussing an eggplant recipe on the cell phone. The clever plot never really blossoms, because everything is too restrained. Simply put, for a supposed "black comedy", this is a rather toothless effort. - MERK

This is by far one of the funniest and under-rated films I have seen in recent years. Jennifer Coolidge rocks as usual and she makes this film what it is. She is just funny with meaning to be or at least in a very unpretentious way. I love all these girls and have watched this movie over and over. The soundtrack also compliments this movie completely. This is a movie that doesn't go stale or off in left field like most do half way through. The story offers continuous laughs and keeps your attention. It has some very surprising takes along the way and keeps you guessing what's next. These girls are my hero's and this film was cast in absolute perfection as each one plays their roles perfectly and gives this movie a sense of reality. These characters all pull off their roles in a way that doesn't at all seem scripted but like you're watching an actual everyday happening. Thanks to everyone involved in this movie for offering such an entertaining and comical movie that I hope will gain all the recognition it deserves. My hat's off to these women.

I would normally not bother writing a review of this movie but I see the only review here is extremely scathing and unfair to this gem of a movie. It's obvious that that reviewer has an "Agenda". I thought this movie was very watchable (even though I'm a man). I see this over reviewer was mad because the movie made all guys out to be jerks. Well, it's silly to take umbrage at that. Everything the ex's were doing is a true sampling of what really goes on the real world. I did not find any it far fetched. Of course, it's not "really" fair to kill them for cheating but you can not go a day in this day and age without such a reading a story on the web/newspaper even more bizarre than anything that happened in the movie.
Sure, if you had Columbo, Perry Mason and the FBI on the case, the women would have been busted. But it only takes a mild suspenseful of disbelief to go along with the premise that they don't get caught.
I thought the acting was very believable and not over the top like a lot high budget comedies. As a guy, I really found the women getting together to seek revenge amusing. Come on guys. You know ex-girl friends and wives can be really as vindictive as men. Here's a movie that does not rely upon a lot of gun shooting or car chases which are the bread and staple of big budge comedies but simply believable acting.

I'm going to start with the positive. I really didn't recognize Amber Heard. The same Amber who were so great in "All the Boys love Mandy Lane" and should have been recognizable. Was it the colour of her hair, that made me not realize it was her? Whatever it was, she was really good in her role.
On the other hand, this tries to ground itself into reality while being completely fantastical. Like the idea behind this or not, it is not well "executed" though (no pun intended). The twist almost saves the movie, though if you really think about it, it could also make the movie redundant. Depending on how you feel about it. While it might speak to the mind, heart and soul of some (women), this still is weak realization of an idea, with lots of clichés
