English Dogs is a fun rampage through London and Bangkok. It follows the story of Byron who lands in Bangkok and heads straight for the red light zone. After having his cards and cash stolen by a wanton neon ballerina he hooks up with old Bangkok hand Dutch at the Old Dutch boozer on Soi Cowboy. Together the pair organize an international steroid export operation and bask in the cash like contented alligators until a new player hits town and puts the squeeze on. Byron must return to London to raise enough cash to free Dutch from the new mob. There's action aplenty in this caper and scenes that conjure up memories of popular crime films Lock Stock, or Rise of the Footsoldier. Worth checking out if you dig crime films and have a connection to Bangkok's seedy underbelly. Highly recommended.

Now I always say each to their own but anyone who gave this film a score of ten must be hard of thinking.
It tries to be slick but doesn't really succeed. Plot is splintered all over the place. Script is very average. Main actor is not to bad but supporting actors were C rate at best. Only watch if there is nothing else to do.

Although I am not a big fan of theses drug movies, I discovered it and watched it to see the amazing martial artist, Mark Stas.
There are some great fight scenes, with a taser for example, but the fight scenes Mark Stas versus Ron Smoorenburg are the highlights! Enjoyed also the shovel part in it :-)
Hope to see much much more of Mark Stas in the future: he has it all to become a modern action star in his way!

This film has it all hot women, corruption. Martial arts, double crossing and spectacular locations.
Taffy Edwards, fantastic director takes you into the dark world of steroids, violence and keeps you there till the end. A white knucke adrenelin punch from start to finish.

This movie has some interesting and good actors, the sound is not always in place but you will really get into this off the grid story with amazing fight scenes in between. I love it. A must watch for people who love independent movies

Well, well, well this film is trying too hard to get an an English actor to do their best Ray Winstone's impression as a British Cockney Gangstar. Byron (Byron Gibson) has this unenviable task with ongoing expositions throughout this film. However, as many know you cannot out Ray Winstone as the British gangster as he was one of the originators of this. Bryon does look like a younger version of Ray but he has big shoes to fill and he is does not quite achieve this.
As a British Gangstar film it ticks off all the right boxes. The film is full of bad characters and nobody in this world are good and all have their own agendas. People will kill to remain "top dogs" but with the harsh message that you will eventually be replaced. This is a gritty enough film that does what it needs to, to convey this but it doesn't bring anything new to this genre except the new location, Bangkok & a lady boy character.
The acting and action scenes are decent enough and the characters are distinctive enough to allow you enjoy it as it is.

Good to see indie cinema is alive and kicking. Brings me back to the days of Old British gangster films but this one has an Asian edge.
Lots of fights, a tidy group of actors, some strange American creepy pimp, some nice music, scenic locations and not forgetting some lovely Thai babes or maybe boys?.
Love the shovel, you wouldn't want that bald headed guy doing your garden!
If your a vegetarian please do not watch this movie!

Byron Gibson has played in Only God Forgives before and does not disappoint here. Ron Smoorenburg has so many credits on his belt it is hard to keep track. If you know the acting scene in Thailand a bit, it is great to see so much talent united in one movie. It is a great example that good things can be created even if you have hardly any budget. Keep rocking, Byron!
