A pretty good film, with some great skydiving scenes, filmed brilliantly, Soundtrack scored by Hans Zimmer and is incredible, go get the soundtrack on cd, and turn up the volume.

I would have gave it a lower rating if I didn't know that sports people would like the jumping out of airplanes, plus some of the soundtrack is pretty cool. Look at it this way it's like Rocket Power, if they were transporting cocaine and carrying guns. And also cussing way to much, and Gary Busey is the kids uncle. I would pay to see those last two made into a Rocket Power movie but besides the case... The acting is awful probably more awful than other action movies I have watched (and yes including Marvel Movies) and just way too slow for what they were trying to achieve. I often question myself wondering why this awful movie was turned into a ride (Now known as Drop Tower at Kings Island) and for the face that Paramount was proud of this movie, and more lately the Transformers movies, begged the question if the stuideo should get mental health.

OK remember 9/11/2001?? well when Gary Busey made that comment in the movie drop zone about that guy with the scar! about 911 couldn't be happening or some others like that right??? well he made it yet this movies was made in 1994 h'm. people watch this movie carefully i had noticed movies many many years ago about scripts and comments they make, and they ever do so happen in the near future warning warning warning i believe the FBI . and government and people are signing in new levels of hints while living in china and as an ex-pat we teach Chinese students English while teaching we offer keywords this my friends is what you need to do. bare in mind while listening carefully to each script in the movies and watch them carefully time and time again and slow them down if needed to look at the back ground of such other movies esp. when it comes to war.politics,religion,history

Lots of whooping and punching the air with fists, very little story. I was hoping for more, this was really disappointing. If you're into those sort of lively American movies then good luck to you.

Not bad, but a little bit disappointing plot.

Took a gamble with this blind watch, few minutes in I felt like I was watching the sky diving version of Point Break. Snipes is a good actor, I thought he did well in this film. Overall I liked it, I'd recommend it. Just don't go in expecting too much.

I'm not sure what's with the disrespectful comments somebody even tried to compare it to the Charlie Sheen movie terminal velocity and there's really no connection at all this is a great movie that I've watched a bunch of times and I really love it.

Far from groundbreaking and often clearly green-screened DROP ZONE doesn't quite stick the landing but its still a fun, cheesy, well paced and consistently entertaining time.

Hey, this is great fun. OK, so the critics weren't too kind to it, but I guarantee nobody goes to sleep during it. The opening bit is a little too close to PASSENGER 57 - another Federal prisoner hijacked in mid-air! - but this is a great flick for those who want some action and adventure in their diet. A competent cast, but the real stars are the director and the stuntmen. (And I'd like a dollar for every film Gary Busey has been killed in recently....)
