Driven

Fascinating story, I couldn't stop watching it! I loved all the actors... very good acting! I didn't know almost anything about DeLorean, but his car used in "Back To The Future"... beautiful, futuristic car that unfortunately and sadly, didn't work. I recommend this movie, at the end, I decided for a 9/10. I really can't see how it is possible to give it 1/10... there's no chance seriously you can be objective giving such that low score. To me guys, you watched another movie or you're really confused... next time, plug your brain in before writing BS, you're embarrassing yourself.

I am giving this a 1 out of 10 for ONE REASON. I know the Film was about JIM HOFFMAN CASE. Ok But it was about the DeLorean AWESOME CAR WHY? Because it was in NOT JUST ONE BUT ALL 3 OF THE CLASSIC "Back to the Future Films" Why DIDN'T THEY AT LEAST ONCE. SAY IT AT LEAST ONCE IN THIS FILM. I just think if someone was wearing even a T-SHIRT of the FILM. In the back ground or something. It would of been really cool in this FILM WHY? Because it was the MOST AWESOME FILMS IN HISTORY. It just would of been cool. But at the ending to have it looking nice and shinny BUT IT WOULD NOT START. KIND OF MESSES WITH "Back to the Future LOL"

A very important American story reworked as an extended SNL comedy sketch with a tinge of anti Northern Ireland bias tossed in for good measure (obviously by the director). For a more realistic depiction and more believable story line I would suggest watching "Framing John DeLorean" directed by Don Argott and Sheena M. Joyce. Oddly enough featuring another SNL alumni, Alex Baldwin doing an amazing job as a (sometimes) John DeLorean, infinitely more satisfying!!! It would not be much of a stretch to compare the genius and downfall of John DeLorean to that of Nikola Tesla.....

A semi-comic biography that took a while to hook me, but once it did, this turned out to be quite an interesting piece of history. Sudekis, predictably, plays a slightly goofy, slightly naive (but perhaps a little smarter than he lets on) neighbor to none other than Mr Delorean (whilst also being a reluctant FBI informant). And for anyone who's seen Lee Pace in the series Halt and Catch Fire, will notice that he channels his Joe MacMillan character back to life; which is not surprising, considering both that fictional character and the real life John DeLorean are not all that far apart. I wouldn't be surprised if his character on the series sealed him the starring role in Driven.

The film rovolves around the neighbor Jim being a farce character, and bumbling John DeLorean into the cocaine heist. The acting is poor (apart from the actor playing John), and the storyline has been changed to suit cringe worthy scenes. If you want a true John DeLoraean film.... We have yet to have one made. Instead I'd recommend reading the many books available about the DeLorean debbacle.

That is my major complaint about this movie. He is made to be a sympathetic character in this movie, always talking about how he wants to "save all his workers jobs". That man would have fired his mother if it meant he profited from it. He screwed over so many people in his life. He stole a patent from a trusting business associate and then made his life hell when he tried to get back what was his life's work. I really liked both John and the informants performance in this, I just wish it was a little more accurate when it came to Delorians true character, it would have made it more fun to enjoy watching his great downfall.

I knew the name DeLorean but could quite remember why. now I do.

The main character does not carry the movie. He is not likable or interesting enough to keep the story captivating

This film tells the story of a man who brings down two people involved a drug deal. It tells a captivating story. It is engaging and makes you feel sorry for all the main characters. I enjoyed watching it.
