I love love love this movie! Lifetime's crown jewel. Rob Lowe is amazing. I guess murder isn't supposed to be funny, but thus movie definitely pokes a lot of fun at the ridiculousness that is Drew Peterson.

In strange manner, he is the lead motif for see the film. like many movies inspired by real facts, something missing in story. for give to it nerve, interest, emotion. and , the good point becomes the performance of actors. in this case, exploring in inspired manner, the nuances of his character, Rob Lowe gives more than a good job. but a realistic portrait of a man of profound ambiguities.

This was a pretty accurate movie from what I've read from the real incident. Overall, it's a decent movie and it was a bit extreme and over dramatic in some parts, but it was still good.

(rated on LFM curve) This movie tells a compelling, whether the real story was exactly like this, I don't know. You've met someone kind of like the lead character (but less extreme). He lets you know that he's God's gift to women, he smiles all the time but then suddenly gives you chills because you get a glimpse of his dark side. He is controlling and you wonder what kind of spell he casts on these beautiful women who can and should do better. He's not physically abusive (except for the mercifully off screen deaths) but the verbal manipulation is evil, well done and makes you sad and angry. This movie reveals a dark side in our culture because there is a large faction that enjoys this company and seeing his antics. It looks like his police buddies look the other way covering up serious episodes. You see reporters abandon women asking for help just to flock to the narcissist as soon as he emerges from his lair. This movie never becomes a farce. The crimes are serious and the contrast to his buoyant behavior was so off putting. It held my interest throughout the entire movie.

Lifetime movies are more often than not cliché dramas about girls who cut themselves or murdering housewives. This one takes a different turn - the murderer is a pervy old man named Drew Peterson. Pervy? How can he be pervy if he's a respected cop with loving children? Well, he's had two wives, and is about to leave the third for a much younger woman. When the third ends up drowned in the washroom of her own home, Drew immediately marries his intended fourth wife and has kids with her, and she doesn't listen to the warnings of her neighbors and friends... Maybe if she heeded their warnings, he wouldn't be missing. This movie has amazing acting, creepy soundtrack at all the right moments, and the plot is based on a true story. I highly recommend it, it's honestly no less creepy than a horror film.

This was definitely one of the better true-life murder mystery movies on Lifetime. Rob Lowe did a great job of capturing Peterson's creepy and egotistical personality. When I saw the previews, I was a little cynical over how his performance would play out. To be honest, the previews made him look "silly", physically. But, once I got into watching the story, and learning more about the back story... Lowe delivered a fine performance. Great supporting cast. Kaley Cuoco was a refreshing choice for the role of Stacy Cales. And, Catherine Dent played a great supporting role, as well. Really showed the comradery that can exists between members of law enforcement. Kept me watching and interested the entire time.

Based on the true story. Following on from the disappearance of his fourth wife ('Big Bang Theory' star Kaley Cuoco Sweeting) police officer Drew Peterson (Rob Lowe 'About Last Night' and 'West Wing') finds himself under suspicion. Rob Lowe is superbly creepy as the police officer, who may or may not have something to do with his wife's disappearance. Kaley Cuoco Sweeting does a good job of the fourth wife, who finds herself trapped in a marriage with a controlling husband. William Mapother is worthy of praise as Peterson's partner. One of my problems with this was, that even behind his squinting eyes, and under his silver wig, moustache and tons of make up, he is still a very handsome man. Although he is so charismatic, it does make it a bit more believable that someone like Cuoco Sweeting would be interested in him. Defiantly worth watching. Once the credits rolled, I was straight online looking to see what happened after the end of the movie, and look more in to the story.

Well done Lifetime movie about the still unresolved case of Drew Peterson and the media frenzy surrounding it. Maybe a bit premature since the trial hasn't taken place yet. Liked the way the subtle nastiness started coming out. Kaley Cuoco is watchable as the 4th wife Stacy who is still missing. She can do much more than comedy. She gives a good and touching performance and evokes sympathy. Rob Lowe as Drew is almost unrecognizable with white hair and a strange voice. Liked his jovial/sinister portrayal. Overall worth a watch.

Despite a very good performance by Rob Lowe as the demented police officer, the film often becomes muddled and quite obvious regarding what is going on. It isn't until about 1/2 hour into the film that you realize that the woman we thought was wife #1 was actually wife #3. Since no mention is made of Peterson's first two wives, it is assumed that he divorced them rather than going through the killing route. Insanely jealous, devious and cunning, Lowe depicted a very good picture of the guy that the cops believed was basically good. The film attempted to bring out the preference that police officers tend to get in crime cases in relation to other cops on the force. Lowe is a charmer who could fool just about anyone. The film also becomes a documentary in nature and many well-known people appear as themselves in telling the story.
