The characters are unlikeable, even after you're supposed to feel sorry for them. And not just a kind of unlikeable, they're poorly written and flat characters. They all make dumb decisions, or do really stupid things that only happen when you're following a script that is in turn just following tropes (and one of those tropes is that in a post credit scene, they kill a barely related, unnamed, gay character. For... No reason). Add to that a barely registered supernatural element that pops up, disappears, and the then re-emerges only at the finale while being mixed in with mundane and pedantic monologue-ing, and you have a mess. This element, by the way appears to be Native American, but the primary slasher weapon of choice is a karambit, a knife found in Indonesia. Just... Why mash the two together? (That is by FAR the least of this movies problems, but it just seems especially needless.) Fill in the gaps with a dash of plot holes, a smidge of loose ends, and a heaping portion of poor explanation and you have "Dreamcatcher." It might not be the WORST movie ever, but it's not worth it.

Atrociously horrorable flick. Yeah you see what I did there. A ten year old child could of come up with a better dialogue and script. You won't make it 7 1/2 minutes into this one.

The thing that annoyed me the most, besides the horrible acting and script was that one of the girls said "magma * LAWD" instead of pronouncing it the correct way "laude" (law-dy). Obviously the actress has never heard that term or was never magna * laude. Or just dumb. Where did they find these people??

I never write reviews for movie/tv whatever but this is just That Bad. By far the worst horror movie, any movie I've ever seen. A good name, a good mask and THAT'S IT. Someone should take that and overhaul the whole thing. I'm not even sure what the hell I just watched... Its NOT scary, just weird and confusing, and not in a good way. I can't believe I watched all the way through. It's not worth the time to try and connect the indiscernible plot lines to the underdeveloped background. Unless you just say hmm the guy/girl/both was probably just high+sensory overloaded and imagined the whole thing, and/or then killed everyone...that's a stupid storyline but would be 20x better than what was actually attempted. And I actually LIKE weird/different, even sometimes cheesy horror+slasher films that most horror slasher fans prob wouldn't. But this has made me want to check reviews of movies first so I don't ever have to watch something even close to this awful again. It doesn't even have any good death scenes. Seriously, Scooby Doo is scarier. The only reason anyone should watch this is so they could even start to understand how truly awful it is because it's beyond words. Sorry for the rambling..I guess.watching this has made my brain want to shut down. Save yourself and watch literally anything else.

So first off, one of my quirks is that I absolutely love bad movies. They are a guilty pleasure. I can watch "Baseketball" over and over because it makes me laugh even though it's an awful movie. But this movie... holy crap this dumpster fire of a movie needs to be buried. No, that's not good enough, since someone in the future could discover it like a time capsule and think this is how our civilization made movies. It should never been made. The acting is so bad it's not even laughable. The writing is also bad, with quips about Mitch McConnell and shopping at Target... gah, just writing about it makes my frontal lobe throb. I'm sure the actors tried their hardest, or maybe not, it's impossible to tell. Any rando could have been inserted as an actor and it would have accomplished the same thing, honestly. The characters are so terrible that you are happy they are killed off (in really stupid ways), because that means the movie is that much closer to being done. Mercifully. Someone wrote a review saying they would cancel Hulu for recommending this atrocity. I just might do that. This should be outlawed by the Geneva Convention. I would rather pass a kidney stone than watch this movie again.

Senseless movie The idea must be good at is birth, but that's all. The realization of the movie is nothing less than awful! Some characters just appear from nowhere, changing the plot, the male characters are all standard model and all of sudden someone new appear and you don't even notice, Brewster the irrelevance is so big that you think it's the same last boring character Not recommended at all Best watch Sharknado, more funny.

This is my first time ever writing a review, but this is by far one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The acting is atrocious and I truly believe the only way that I could even understand the film is if I was high on molly. The beginning begins as most slasher films, the main characters go to an unsafe place. The beginning has to have drama between the main character and her sister (they have to say 5 times that she's in med school). They go to a club, clubbing happens, the female has to have a fight with her sister because the movie has to movie. She decides to go to the "Dreamcatcher" (a dj at the club) and pops some drugs and commits suicide. The characters observe and his manager tells them that she'll pay them $50,000 each or "will ruin them" because she's done it more than "Mitch McConnell" because she recorded it and can "edit it". One character who is apparently a lawyer says "you won't get away with this". Yet somehow forget that they have cell phones and can simply call the police, but you know, movie. I truly do not know what I even watched, the characters are much more dumb than the typical horror film. DO NOT watch this!

This film tries to be something it's not - a movie! This is like a slow moving train wreck. UTTER GARBAGE - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY !!!!

I created an account simply to give people the warning I wish I had for this movie DO NOT WATCH AND DO NOT BUY. I've always been a fan of horror and this one is a complete and utter miss if you ask me. The acting is quite alien and forced, the characters actions frustratingly stupid and illogical at times and the characters themselves are all incredibly boring at best and hatable at worst. Now In some horror this works in the viewers favour because the movie is made more enjoyable counting the minutes for their brutal deaths, but there's hardly any killing, when it does happen it's unexciting and most of the movie is spent with the directors trying to be artistic in ways that just make you want them to get on with it or skip ahead. Which I admit I did. I tried to give it a go since my family had paid money to watch it, but halfway through I started to skip to get on to the plot and the promised horror. However even when the killing happened, and the big twist I was left unsatisfied and wishing I had given up earlier on the movie if it was just going to be this bland anyway.
