There is a parable at the heart of "Do You Trust Your Boyfriend?" (aka, "Killer Profile"). The character of Heather Harris is a product of artificial intelligence, a non-existent bot brought to life as a Frankenstein in the form of the deranged Jenny Morris. Unfortunately, the film's theme was diminished due to a convoluted narrative that included too many far-fetched and implausible situations. What started as a malicious ploy by Nicole to determine how much she could trust her boyfriend Liam DeLuca, escalated into a nightmare with numerous lives at stake. Eventually, Nicole came to regret her mistake, just as the computer savvy Cass felt remorse for enabling and expanding the scheme. Viewing this film will offer a stern warning about the risks of social media and the untoward consequences of fiddling on the internet. There were good performances and comaraderie among the "Three Muskateers" (Nicole, Angie, and Cass). But there remained loose in the film an important lesson about the horrors that can take place on a tiny cell phone.

Loved it! Another good Lifetime movie. (Some have been bad lately but a handful have been really good!). Excellent plot line and actors. Kept me guessing. An enjoyable watch. Check it out.

This is another Lifetime movie where the villain is not just the actual one. Similar to how in I Know What You Did Last Summer, Julie and Co. Aren't all that innocent in the grand picture, I would consider Nicole and Angie villainous in a way since they started this whole thing. Nicole and Angie set the events of the movie in motion (including the flashback) and up to the 1 hour 23 min mark (the point I'm at now), neither have taken responsibility. Jenny/Heather's issues aside, Nicole being a jealous, insecure brat who gets some payback from Heather does not make me feel sorry for her. Additionally, it's somehow more noble to break into things as the protag, than the villain in the same movie. No, no it's not. I am glad her mother called her out on it. That actually doesn't happen much in Lifetime movies where the main characters do the same thing. It's a watchable movie, but I don't think we should be rooting for Nicole. Had Heather/Jenny not hurt Isaac and Angie, I'd be onboard with her teaching Nicole a lesson. I know these movies have a formula where the "good" guy/girl always wins, but sometimes the movie doesn't do the best job of making you feel sorry for them. This is one of those cases. P. S. Liam would be better off without Nicole. Her insecurity is nothing a high school kid needs to burden himself with.

As stupid as the movie was, but I have to agree that the two main individuals who drove Jenny/Heather crazy got away with it all laughing and joking at their high school graduation. And they seemed to be fine with their other friend Cass who really enabled psycho to show up at their school. And the final scene was absolutely pathetic. During her visit with her daughter Jenny/Heather's mom loses her phone ie Jenny swipes it. And outside the prison the woman searches her bag for her phone and suddenly freezes and that's it? Any normal person would return to prison and report that her phone is missing and they would have to search psycho. But oh no she doesn't. And the final scene shows Jenny creating a fake just-nicole profile in her jail cell laughing like a lunatic. Seriously idiots should not be allowed to write scripts!

Unfortunately the end of this movie is back to front the 2 people who did all that damage to the poor girl and ruined her life. That spirals her in to seeking vengeance get away with a happy ever afterwards ending .Instead of justice for there wrong doings.

"Do You Trust Your Boyfriend?" is a Lifetime winner. This movie does everything right. The script is strong and the direction is tight. The cast is very likeable with one strong performance after another. Kendall Cato deserves an Emmy nomination. She's great in this movie. "Do You Trust Your Boyfriend?" really hit the spot.
