This was a terrible movie!!!!! Shame on Naomi! She did Princess Diana no favors!!!!! As for the director OMG!!! I could have done a better job. It was boring and a cheap made film! She did not look kind in the movie nor did she even look like Diana! What were you expecting to achieve when you made this film? Did Charles and Buckingham Palace pay you to make this film?? If this does not make it on your web page I will find other means to state my views on this terrible cheap movie on Diana. I am curious where you received your information from and was there not any other candidate that looked more like Diana than Naomi?

The fact that many film execs will have sat through a process that resulted in more than one person ever saying "this is a great idea" completely baffles me. It is the tasteless, disgusting piece of film we knew it would be. Why such a tremendous women had to be further denigrated in this way I don't know. It's insulting to everyone! There is nothing about this film that works. Naomi Watts had not nailed any of HRH's poise or mannerisms and don't even get me started on another awful American attempt at our lovely accent. The cinematography is horrendous. The plot line is pure fiction, we have enough films that perpetrate the vacuous and dangerous "romantic" stereotypes; why clutch at straws to make the Diana/Khan another unimaginative regurgitation of boy meets girl. I'm frankly surprised that actors like Naomi Watts and Naveen Andrews (a Brit!!) would actually endanger their careers by associating with something so misguided and crass.

I watched this film. I enjoyed the film. But the only reason I give it an average rating because of the authenticity of the story and if any of the evens are true. Other than that, I enjoyed the visuals and most of the story like the land mine issues and the Surgeon and his story and how he really seemed like he loved her. Great film.

Not going to say to much, except that this was a good film and it should be watched. Don't believe any of the bad reviews, those people must have watched a different film, because nothing about this film is bad. Great cast, great director, fantastic script and I will purchase this film when it releases on BluRay and DVD. It's sad that the world has forgotten such an amazing person. Princess Diana used her power to try and better the world, and all she deserves a lot more credit than she gets, even after her death, she should be remembered for the wonderful, caring and soft spoken person she was. Great film, it should not be missed.

What I was annoyed with in this film are the moments with Diana's sons. Throughout the course of the protagonist mentions her children, according to her the most important thing in the world, but they are showed only for one brief second. Isn't this a contradiction? Although "Diana" is technically very well filmed and offers many beautiful moments that characterize the pressure under which the princess lived, the movie nevertheless fails to convey what is the center of this achievement and that is unconditional love which breaks all barriers of feudal and religious beliefs. "Diana" has its good moments, but in the end leaves a rather weak overall impression.

Dull and plodding!! If this was supposed to be a tribute to Diana it woefully failed!

First off, I can only imagine how hard of a role it must have been for Naomi Watts to be portraying such an icon. Someone who was loved by so many people around the world, me included. All of the great contributions while struggling with such heart-break, this film really did an excellent job at displaying all of that. The realness and wanting that Princess Diana longed for true love, she was never 100% happy with her life. You can really see that in the facial expressions and mannerisms that Naomi Watts did throughout the film. All of the other actors did a fantastic job as well. This film did not let me down, and it was beautifully told.
