I didn't know Deon Cole before this show but I will for sure look out for his next shows from now on. Physically he reminds me a bit of Lionel Ritchie and a bit of Eddy Murphy but then much better build. He's quite agile during his show, which I like, it's much better then a static performer, it creates a good interaction with the audience. His jokes are sometimes subtle but certainly effective, but most of the time it's very straightforward, the kind of comedy you like or not, in my case I liked it a lot. There are a couple passages where he starts preaching a bit, and that was to me the weak spot of his otherwise excellent show. He should just stick to bringing his jokes like he did most of the show and he will for sure never fail to entertain.

Kinda reminds of Mike Epps, Deon Cole was not afraid to talk about real life situations and things that you can relate to...

I previously knew Deon Cole as a costar on Blackish, but fell in love with his individual stardom watching this Netflix special. I loved his humor and comedic timing. He is laugh out loud funny. Great job!

I recognized him, but hadn't seen his stand up before. It was PERFECTION!!! In fact, I can't wait to watch it all over again when my boyfriend gets home from work later.
Great style and he really worked the physical comedy as well! Laughed wayyyy harder than I have in a VERY long time, and will definitely be watching anything of his that I can going forward!!! Also, had some interesting thoughtful / not comedic stuff in it that I really enjoyed.
And not that it is here or there, but total. seven. course. dinner. plus. dessert. Whew!
I accidentally left a review on his seminar instead, but I will just blame that on being exhausted from laughing and sweating so much.

It's been quite awhile since I've seen a comedian this funny. All the jokes were well written and Deon delivered them in precisely the manner that brought the most laughs. I enjoy seeing him on the TV show Blackish, but I did not know that he is this hilarious. Deon is going to be a rising star!

Still one of the most underappreciated modern comedians. extremely funny and smart. all his acts are top notch material polished to perfection. how is he still not huge? a mystery.

Never heard of this comic and would be pleased never to hear of him again. Nothing funny here, but more like a noisy, nasty drunk down the end of the bar. How do these people get 'specials'? This man was playing to a very forgiving black audience - one that seemingly would laugh at anything. Admittedly, I turned the show off at about twenty minutes in, so if it became gold after that, oh well.

Deon is funny....made me laugh out loud every few minutes. I give most Netflix comics a chance...most I turn off after 15 minutes. I did watch all of Deon and his comedy gets better and better. He is very good with the physical side of it too. He also gives women some real good advice about what they should and should not put up with.... Hope he makes some more comedy specials...

Artful, trenchant, ingenious - just a few words to describe this show! Mr. Cole certainly knows how to present himself on stage and his stage presents is certainly a part of the act.
Catch this video because it will have you smiling and laughing! He articulates his jokes and life observations directly to everyone in the audience and his witticism is spot on!
