I was a bread man delivering for Kilpatricks Bakery of Oakland,out of Antioch,California in the late 1980's, and served bread and hamburger buns to Orwoods Resort, a boat ramp and campground in Brentwood, California. This was the site where much of this "coming of age" movie was filmed. I was in the background during much of filming and remember the excitement that everyone in the area felt while this movie was being made. After the movie was wrapped up, everyone was waiting for it's release. I never saw it at the theaters, so I figured that it was never released. I then found out that it was released and was also out on VHS. I cannot find it, but would love to see it. Does anyone out there have a copy or could make me one? I would love to see the movie and also see Brentwood of 1987 again! By the way, Orwoods Resort is still in business and still a hot spot during the summer for water skiers, jet skiers, and fishermen to put their boats into the water of the East County Delta.
