The movie from start to finish was jam packed with action and suspense. The characters all each had a unique backstory that conveys issues in the real world today. Deep in it overall, had many elements that invoked humor ,action, tragedy , and redemption. One of the characters that caught my attention was the kid Mario as he was a selfless and morally correct person caught in the middle of chaos. I think the writers had his character well written with a message deeper than what meets the eye . The other student, Jennifer also was a character that resonated with me because I had a girlfriend that went through the exact same situation, it's almost like the writers wrote her life story Overall, Deep in it is a must a watch I recommend watching this movie.

Some reviews are misleading. I believe it is producer and so called actors who wrote those reviews. I cam to IMDb and i found it has very good ratings so i decided to watch it. From the beginning i knew something is wrong. I came back to IMDb and i notice the high ratings was because number of voters less than 40. Very very bad acting and even the voices seems to be recorded separately and plotted like dubbed ! Again, I believe good reviews are either from the crew or it is someone who fell into the trap and want everyone to suffer. My advise that this a 90 minutes gone from your life for nothing, literally!

Before I checked out this movie I read the reviews which turned me off at first but the I decided to check it out for myself and boy was those negative reviews wrong, I really enjoyed this movie! This movie impressed me by its great quality in all ways, the story, thrilling with great police detective action and the most remarkable aspect of the movie was the acting performances of Marques Buford and Patrick Greene; they put their souls on the characters making this movie a total delight for those who like action films with intelligent scripts and also like for high quality films. If you ask me, DEEP IN IT is an excellent film that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat and blow you away.

Deep In It is a good movie, I've watched it 3 times already, I can't get enough! I feel in love with the Kevin character not because he's robbing and stealing but for the reasons he's robbing and stealing, which is to keep his mom in an upscale senior living home. The movie doesn't have any we'll know actors and there are some slow moments but they all played out meaningful and the more you watched it the more subtle lines and actions you will pick up which make this movie authentic
Overall, to each his own, I found this to be one of my favorite movies due to a great story, great directing and a great cast.

Not a dull moment! I liked the cast, they seemed real. Obviously, there is violence and implied violence, but we also get to see some character development. The movie is not afraid to make fun of the usual action cliches, I felt like some of it was tongue-in-cheek. This is not a movie for your grandparents, though.
The cop character, played by Patrick Greene, is particularly relatable. He has a child-like vulnerability behind a tough exterior. I wasn't completely sure about the big bad guy, who sometimes was just a bit much -- how evil can you be? But overall this is a roaring tale of fall and (maybe) redemption.

I'm familiar with the executive producer of this film, his name is Klou he's a platinum music producer from the Master P's No Limit camp so I wasn't sure he could have the same success with movies but I was truly surprised, this movie was really good! It reminded me a little of "Training Day" The opening scene was intense, it had me on the edge of my seat....the lead actors that played Kevin Hunter and Frank Mazetti were pretty good! They both were deep in it from the start. The title held up well. The negative was that some of the other actors could have been better but non the least it didn't hurt this film at all, the storyline which was really good kept me engaged throughout and for a B movie I was surprised of that. The sound quality and the music score was as good as a big budget studio film, and that I wasn't surprised of knowing who the music producer was. I would recommend this film in a heartbeat, it's worth every penny, I'll definitely watch it again.

When you see the cover and the title you raise your expectations very high but 15 min into it and you feel like you're watching something filmed with a samsung on a Tuesday
Very disappointing specially the acting
None of the actors are actually into their roles
Looks more like a school project.
In one of the first scenes when the women responsable for the mother of kevin was talking
She just kept a smile while giving the dude a problem like it ain't nothing
The reviews are actually misleading in here and there are some very good marks given to this movie but very very undeserved and has nothing to do with reality.

The film starts off with Kevin Hunter (Marques Buford) robbing Max (Farah Mubayed ) mob boss of the Italian mafia. We discover he needs the money to pay for his mother's nursing home and he is raising a daughter. There is a box he opens up that has a white glow to it similar to "Pulp Fiction." We never find out what this is either. Max calls Frank (Patrick Greene) a dishonest detective who somehow needs money. Max has been running a grant scheme and Gabe finds out and wants his share. Frank kills Gabe who happens to be Max's nephew. Frank figures out Kevin is the thief and blackmails him to take Gabe's spot teaching kids music. One of the kids is a drug dealer who works for Trey (California Brougham), a rival gang, and also Frank. So it now all ties together.
The acting and dialogue needed to be a bit better. Many of the support actors were not convincing in their roles. Karla Walker provided the token eye candy.
