The film's title of "Nightmare Neighborhood Wives" is somewhat misleading because the only deeply troubled wife who appeared in this beautiful Atlanta suburb was Bonnie.
In the opening scene, we witness Bonnie murder Kira, who has been sleeping with Bonnie's husband Christian. Months pass without Bonnie being a suspect, and now she sets her sights on ruining the life of her new neighbor Charlotte, who works for the same company and is perceived by Bonnie as a rival.
The most interesting character was Christian, a man with conscience, who slowly recognizes that he can no longer keep silent about the deranged mindset of Bonnie. This was a character who genuinely evolved in the course of the film.
Unfortunately, this was an overly unpleasant movie due to the disruptive antics of Bonnie. It was also surprising that after installing a sophisticated neighborhood watch monitoring system that the footage was not viewed to detect Bonnie entering Charlotte's garage to sabotage her furnace.
The climactic scene that occurred in a restaurant was over-the-top in its melodrama. There could have also been a better denouement that allowed the viewers to know the fate of Bonnie. One can only hope that she is getting the help that she deserves and ardently needs, based on her actions that would appear to be an earnest imitation of Lady Macbeth.

Sorry to have to write this but this movie was not really bad. Poor acting and bad casting may have the most to do with why I did not like this one.
Hoping a better future for all involved.

I don't think i've seen a movie this good in a long time. I don't think this is supposed to be a comedy in any way, but it sure gave me side stitches. Like come on Charlotte....you mean to tell me you didn't pick up on any of Bonnie's extremely obvious/creepy social cues? Also, why did that random Emma or Emily (Jordan's friend) all the sudden dip to the Fatherland? Where tf did that come from? Lol 10/10 comedy.

This is typical middle class suburbia formulated and not so thrilling thriller.
The characters, script and basic plot are all ok but nothing original or fresh. Some of the ideas are totally unrealistic and they don't portray realitistic behaviours. However, the movie flows along at a comfortable pace and it is ok entertainment for a braindead 90 minutes.

This movie was very easy to watch albeit predictable and nothing new. Bonnie is probably the most played straight villain of 2022 Lifetime. This lady is crazy and she had no redeeming qualities which made her easy to hate.
I appreciate the "creativity" with the main conflict of the movie being an Avon/Mary Kay type of business lol. I don't think Lifetime has done that before. I usually like to know why villains are the way they are, but knowing how Avon/MK/etc work, it's not a stretch to believe Bonnie was overly competitive and would use and strong-arm her "friends" to help her sales numbers. The backhanded compliments and subtle shade were well done by the actress.
The acting was the most iffy part of the movie. It was a bit stiff and some of the dialogue was kind of on the nose in some places. I thought the movie was a lot of tell not show, so a montage of both Bonnie and Charlotte actually being seen selling the products would have been nice. I think Bonnie cared about winning more than she cared about her husband's infidelity, so in some ways the opening scene was overly violent considering how the movie played out.
I do wish they'd told us definitively what happened to Bonnie. A cast iron to the head is probably fatal, but being that this is Lifetime, it would be nice to know for sure. Although I will say Bonnie was the type of villain that it would have annoyed me to see alive and manipulating the prison guards in the end like in most of these movies. I also wanted to know what happened to Christian. They never actually said what crooked things he did in his business, so what was his fate in the end? Jail? Nothing? With Bonnie dead, who was going to tell?
One of the better 2022 ones. Bonnie was like the adult version of the mean girl from Psycho Sweet 16, another movie from this year. I'd recommend at least one watch.

A lethal woman attempts to destroy her new neighbour after suspecting her own husband has an eye for her. A typically enjoyable, though predictable, Lifetime thriller. Gina Simms plays a neighbour from hell, she's so OTT that it can be quite funny. And it's so obvious she's a creep that the new unsuspecting neighbours don't bat an eyelid! She's a standout actress, the others are ok. It's an enjoyable film. The neighbour from hell subject is very relatable.

Excellent writing and plot here. Divorcee Charlotte moves into a new neighborhood because of her job with her daughter, Jordan. Little does she know that she's moved across the street from Bonnie Mason, who's jealous of her when she finds they work for the same beauty sales company and Bonne wants to be #1 in everything she does. Trouble is Charlotte is #1 in sales and Bonnie plans to change that. What she does makes this a very good thriller and one of Lifetime's better flicks. Definitely recommend!!!
