I was planning on watching this movie last week over my 50" Plasma with my Xbox 360 Netflix until I came upon the low rating in the IMDb website. Then today I decided to try it out again while I'm eating in my dorm room. After finishing the movie I decided to write this review / comment to save you from the bad comments that others had input. I'm not a hardcore film critic and that is what the score is based on in the IMDb website; they watch dozens of films a month and review them. One thing I know is that this movie is definitely worth watching. My Rating: 7.5 Similar Movies: American Pie, Euro Trip Plot Overview: The movie involves one innocent man (Spence) who does everything right who doesn't take risk and his best friend (Hogan) who limps at the edge of the cliff taking every risk and just lives his life. The movie is about 2 college graduates who work for a company of assholes who harass them constantly calling them "shit stick" and stuff like that. These two protagonists decided to earn extra cash by creating the Cougar Club. The Cougar Club grants members access to "cougars" or old ladies (40+) who want to prey on young men (hence the name cougar). The plot was pretty predictable. Nothing mind-blowing but the climax and conclusion went pretty good. My comments: I'm a big fan of Kaley Cuoco (love her shows: The Big Bang Theory, Charmed, 8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter) so that automatically attracted me to pay close attention to this movie from her early appearance in this movie. This movie is like American Pie and Eurotrip except a little less silliness. Kaley Cuoco's parts in this movie wasn't to good as it made her look look like the needy girlfriend. She has performed better in her other shows. Oh and Izabella Scorupco is one hot cougar. This movie had about 2 or 3 scenes that made me laugh balls to the wall! Its one of those laughter where you can barely breathe because it was so funny. Its a pretty good comedy. Watch it already!

An interesting plot flops due to poor writing & acting. Intrigued by the cover art & abstract, I picked up this title at the bargain bin in some super-mart store. I was prepared for the usual straight-to-DVD quality with toilet humor, lots of flesh, and the whole "American Pie meets National Lampoon" style experience. Instead, I was brutally disappointed. The movie stuttered along unevenly. The jokes (if you can call them that) never crackled nor was there any witty banter. The scenes were disjointed while also being ridiculously transparent. And the characters, from the protagonists to the love interests & even the bit players/cameos were sadly one-dimensional. Some characters would disappear from the film almost entirely to simply reappear without explanation later. Probably worst of all, the movie fell short on its seductive promise. Aside from 1 or 2 very short exceptions, the cougars themselves were left out of the movie. Very lacking for a "guilty-pleasure" style movie. At least show us some action. Overall, a very poor showing. I feel bad for some of the actors/actresses, since they were certainly victims of lackluster writing, and lame attempts at humor. You'd be better off going with almost any of the other titles in the genre that promise lots of women in skimpy clothing.

The movie has the perfect plot and timing. They portray the pure aspect of what a "cougar" is through the cast as well as the acting. Its definitely a cheesy comedy, but that is what the audience is looking for, at least what I was looking for. Its essentially a national lampoons style movie - would compare to a Van Wilder or Old School style movie. I am looking forward to the full release to see it again. Good quality of writing as well as producing and looks like it was done with a much larger budget than what is estimated. Always good to see this in a independent movie.

I was expecting good things from the movie but i was left feeling very let down. Not once did i laugh or even give a smile during the film. I kept thinking when will this be over. It's like a comedy with NO comedy. The film failed to keep my attention and i found myself thinking of other things. I was expecting it to be like American pie with a twist but it's nothing like American Pie. I've never been so bored watching a movie. I've not long ago finished watching the movie and already i can't remember what happened in it. Terrible film, Terrible Cast, Terrible Plot.... In a word this movie is TERRIBLE!!!

my tip: don't waste your time seeing this movie. i came in to it with a hope of seeing a good movie, with actors like Isabella Scorupco. but in fact this is just a really annoying piece without witty jokes or a good story... lame actors and boring screenplay. it tragically to see how good actresses can fall down to this kind of jobs... my eyes are filled with tears as a result of the disappointment this movie delivers. i try to find a meaning or a plot, but this is just a complete mess of awful acting, and a bad story written by the director. just see it for Isabella Scorupco and some * girls. maybe you will find it amusing, but i suggest that you go rent a real dirty movie instead of this, or a funny comedy-movie. that should spare you from the illness that struck me after spending more than an hour in front of this crap. remember: time is money... at least you shouldn't spend it watching this.
