The good: this movie has got a heart and soul. Such a relief to see a real movie about real humans, with real emotions again. More good: the acting in this movie is honest and true to life, which creates an endearing and pleasant portrait of a loving family, whom we get to see live together from day to day. This may sound boring and although it is quite a slowburning story, it never became a tedious watch, because of the true to life emotions and situations we get to see this family go through. Quite ordinary situations, nothing spectacular. Just everyday life, we all know ourselves from our own family lives. But still interesting to watch... The direction and photography are impressive, but without any desire to be flashy or in your face. Everything about this movie is tranquil and serene. We simply get to see, up close and personal, the life and love of a tightknit family. Family love is universal. And so is this movie...
