I felt Christmas in paradise was a very entertaining and enjoyable sequel to The 2021 movie Christmas Is Back Kelsey grammer Elizabeth Hurley were great . The cinematography was very good Philippe Martinez and Mick Davis have done a great job with these movie's and they have a good track record The movie is fun for the whole family just as well as the first movie The film uses its budget really well and it's a very nice feel good movie There's warm moments too and it has a nice pace It feels like the Christmas Family are becoming a nice stable of the festive season and I would like to see a 3rd movie be made.

First, It is nice and not too heavy and had its sweet moments. I honestly love me some Elizabeth Hurley- and Kelsey Grammer but 1) the casting in this was ( I'm gonna say it) just weird. Elizabeth Hurley- is Kelsey's daughter ? And she a newly pregnant mom? She looks amazing true but quite the stretch. The youngest daughter is ( I could be wrong about this) recently out of college? Okay so I guess we're suppose to use our creative mind- EH has a baby a little later in life. Ok. The youngest daughter went back to college or whatever but none of them barely look young enough to be his daughters? Billy Ray was Billy Ray- decent job all the way through but this was just a hard one to watch for me I love Christmas movies and am good with mushy or sappy but this was just a bit off and odd.

I love Kelsey Grammer and I enjoyed Fraser but this is terrible. The casting is all wrong. The 3 kids Don't look young enough to be Kelsey's daughters. Kelsey Grammer is 67 years old and Elizabeth Hurley ,although she looks great ,is 57 years old and is supposed to be his daughter. The youngest daughter is in college . Also, I'm not a fan of Billy Ray Cyrus but , I guess was OK in it. I was looking forward to this Christmas movie but it's a definite pass. I wouldn't waste my time. I just felt the casting was all wrong and I couldn't get beyond that. The story is kind of dumb also. Sadly I cannot recommend this.
