This was such an unfunny show, constant screaming and bad language does not equal funny, dave chappelle is so much bad at delivering quality comedy and in a calm and in control manner, here you could tell the audience was uncomfortable and forcing their laughter, terrible sex jokes about elon musk, pitting republicans vs. Democrats, also the whole bit with the abortion was just completely wrong and terrible, dave chappelle has mentioned aborition in his act but does so with much more tact, so sad to see this is what comedy has devolved into, gone are the days of quality comedians like george carlin and robin williams.

Chris' latest comedy special, besides being Netflix's first livestream, is his first special since the famous Oscar slap
The special explores a range of topical issues, including race, politics, and cancel culture, and showcases Rock's signature brand of intelligent and incisive humor.
He can take complex issues and distill them into sharp and hilarious observations that are both insightful and thought-provoking. Rock's performance is also notable for its honesty and vulnerability, as he shares personal anecdotes and experiences that add depth and nuance to his humor.
Chris tackles the Oscar slap directly by not playing the victim. He confronts it head-on and shows he's in charge.
He can confront controversial topics with a deft and thoughtful touch. While the special is certainly not afraid to push boundaries and challenge audiences, it never veers into the realm of offense or shock value. Rather, Rock's humor is grounded in a genuine desire to provoke thought and discussion, and to shed light on important issues in a way that is both entertaining and informative.
Overall, "Chris Rock: Selective Outrage" is a fantastic comedy special that showcases the best of Rock's comedic talent. With its masterful delivery, incisive humor, and thoughtful approach to significant issues, the special is a must-watch for fans of intelligent and thought-provoking comedy.

The people outraged by this have no sense of humour.
Such a sad state of affairs.
I am willing to bet, that as usual, a lot of those people actually haven't seen it
Personally I thought it was hilarious.
The bit about Will Smith and his keeper was brilliant.
Perfectly delivered. Loved it.🤣🤣🤣 All his points about it were correct too. I feel for Will Smith seemingly being trapped with an abusive, heartless partner but this reaction from Chris Rock was most definitely deserved.
Another brilliant special from a comedy great. I am glad that comedians are starting to bite back at the ludicrous group of people that a perpetually offended.
Bill Burr, Jim jefferies, Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock should all be commended!!

I knew this special would be very Chris Rock with lots of language, but some of his lewd references even just five minutes in led me turn it off the special. I really wanted to hear his jokes about the Will Smith incident, but it wasn't worth the cost of my need to stand guard at the door of my mind, and that includes my ears.
One would hope that for both Will Smith and Chris Rock, last year's event would draw them inward and ultimately to God for forgiveness of their sins and weaknesses, like we all have to ultimately do, but Chris isn't there yet. He seems coarser and more bitter and jaded than ever. We often can't control what happens to us in life, but we do have some say and how we respond to it, and our best response always comes after presenting our bitterness, anger, fears, and all of it, to Jesus. Again, Chris just isn't there yet.

Chris Rock's introduction to this special felt like the viewer was in for a huge comedic happening. Celebrity comics praised him to the highest, and no one was anything but gushing over Rock, as if the guy was going to bring on a blockbuster. What a disappointment. First, the guy does nothing but shout out his lines, then pauses, and waits for what amounted to anemic laughter. Shouting, in and of itself is not funny, and he has never change the style that is just irritating, and not funny. Then he proceeds to criticise a veritable cornucopia of people, institutions, businesses, and the question is, who gives a blank? I have nothing further to say, it just wasn't that memorable, but this crazy idea IMD has about length, is about as relevant as Rock's so called special.

Chris Rock started off the show by saying he was not going to offend ANYONE. I didn't believe it could be done, but he did it!! What an amazingly talented man!
He had me laughing at my Lululemon collection. I respected his actions regarding his eldest daughter's expulsion for high school. Despite his enormous weath, he's a father who truly loves his kids and cares about their longterm well-being.
He even addressed the Will Smith slapping incident at the Oscars but did it in very respectable, relatable, and evolved manner. .....with a little bit of humor and humility.
And, at the end, a well deserved mic drop and standing ovation.
Will watch this again!

Thank you Netflix for giving us this special!! It was all over the news and highly anticipated; so my expectations were pretty high. Finally got to tune in this evening in Australia and was not disappointed. I don't usually watch Chris rock's standups but will have to check them our after this. I am a huge fan of Dave Chapelle and I can see why they're great friends.
Selective outrage touches on the current issues of "attention seeking" behaviour and smartly approaches sensitive topics using references to popular culture. I don't want to reveal too much and leave it to your own judgement upon viewing!
Just a heads up that there are comments that aren't politically correct, vulgarities and moments gasp worthy- so if you don't like content as such, please give this a miss. I don't want another good comedian to be cancelled so do stay away. But for those looking for someone to tell it like it is, honesty (even if you don't agree) and a good laugh, then this is for you!
And of course, the others who just want to hear about the will smith incident, you can stay till the very end. It's worth it!
Thank you Chris rock for not victimising yourself and coming out stronger by using humour to deal with your difficult experience and fuel it for your career!
