I've never written a review, but I'm beyond words with the level of frustration with some of Hallmark's choices... What photographer would just leave their equipment behind, it's worth thousands of dollars. That's absurd! And the unnecessary competition from another "photographer", who didn't even know you needed a macro for those types of photos?! Give me a break, and how bad was her acting, over the top much?! It's not that hard, why does Hallmark always come up with absurd premisses to "create" conflict in their films... It also remains unclear if the proceeds from the auction go to Tegan or the community center, since he donated enough to cover the community center's needs. I hate that Hallmark never explains any financial aspects. I get it, it's romance but a bit of practical would go a long way.

Yes, as many reviewers have noted, there is fake snow, a lot of it. However, it does land in the competing photographers hair as she's taking pictures. I'm about halfway through the movie and purely from an entertainment angle, I'm enjoying it. Being in the south, I love seeing the snow, even if it's not real. Rebecca Dalton is relatively new to me and the jury is still out on her abilities as a Hallmark actress. This is just an aside, but who on earth travels into a snow storm and packs sleeveless blouses? Marcus Rosner however has always been one of my favorite Hallmark actors. Julie, the daughter, seems much older than I would have thought and the friend looks familiar but I can't place her. The carolers were actually pretty good as well. Again, currently at 3/4 through and still really enjoying the movie.

Rebecca Dalton has had at least one real bomb but also a couple I enjoyed. Her appearance makes me think she is a model, but I can't find that in her bio. For me she is strikingly beautiful. I won't say that she is a great actress. Marcus Rosner is a veteran for Hallmark, but I have never thought he stood out. Put them together in a movie that follows the usual lines and you get a middle of the road product which some will love and others not so much. I will say the snowflake angle is a new one. I looked it up and found one article saying there are at least 30 types. Hmm. The writers try to liven the story by having another photographer compete with Teagan to have an entry in the auction that one benefactor has already promised big bucks for if the lot includes that rare 12 sided snowflake. This might have added to the story if the competitor hadn't been so obviously inept. Her shady side must have been the intended hook, but just irritated me.

Hallmark movies of where two people get trap in a snowstorm where it always to be only two good looking people who are full of stereotypes. It's predictable and you know they will fall in love because it's a Hallmark movie, they have to fall in love or it's not a hallmark movie. You can help to roll your eyes on how they don't seem to like each other to only to started to like each other toward the end of the movie. Hallmark loves to make these predictable characters and movies on Christmas because they have certain audience who can't get enough of them. All Hallmark has to do is change the actors and actresses and mess around with the plot.

This is so bad it could be a career ender for the leads. Apparently Hallmark spent around a dollar on the special effects. It's snowing hard, but not a flake on either lead! Here's a thought for Hallmark. Bring all your stars to Oswego, NY for two weeks in January and film a year's worth of Christmas movies. As for this movie, it's sloppily written , lazily directed and the acting is embarassing. So now I have 190 characters left in this before IMDB will let me post. Hallmark is damaging it's reputation by dumping drek like this on us. We know you have to put out hundreds of movies a year, but try harder.

Yes, your typical Hallmark a couple gets caught in a snowstorm plot. But the twist is a photographer is given the task to get a photo of a rare 12 sided snowflake in order for an art collector to purchase her work, which is a tidy sum that will help the community. Actor Marcus Rosner plays Noah, a friend from her childhood, who helps her on her mission. Marcus Rosner is hot, hot, hot, I'll watch any movie he's in. Rebecca Dalton is Tegan, the photographer. There is good chemistry between the two leads. People complain about the shoddy special effects regarding the snowstorm, come on folks, this is a simple Hallmark movie. Give this movie some grace its a sweet enjoyable romcom, better than most Hallmark movies..

The chemistry between the two lead actors just is not there!! I noticed they did another movie before this and they just haven't developed any chemistry!! One other pointed out the special effects to this and they were not kidding. The CGI snow blowing is awful!! The roads get wet but you can tell it's not from melting snow!! I live in a place that gets snow and melting snow is more mush than just water wet!! Let's not leave out the snow plow being a Diesel!! That engine can still be heard inside the cabin no matter how new the truck is! When you see the scenes of them "driving", you hear zero engine sounds! One good thing about this is this, they are not really pushing it's a "Christmas movie"! This movie is more a "winter" one than anything else! Hallmark does need to do a better job with details and writing! Also, can't leave out that there is no black ice on a dirt road! I laughed when he claimed they hit black ice on that dirt road! Also, a city/state owned plow can not be used as a personal vehicle like the guy does in this!

This had to be one of the stupidest premises for a Hallmark movie ever! Who in their right mind would ever believe this story? The acting was horrible, the snowstorm special effects weren't even believable, with the sun shining during the snowstorms, with all of the highways being mysteriously devoid of any snow at all. The writers of this monstrosity obviously did some serious drinking before they hatched this abomination, and I'm surprised that Hallmark even wasted their time filming it. I hope that they will reconsider ever showing this again, but I'm sure that they will unfortunately keep doing so.
