With a positive approach to a uniquely tragic and emotional experience, Edwardo deserves more than a humanitarian medal for his positive tenacity, gentle soul and amazing story of thriving in a situation where most people would have given up a thousands times over.

It's a film about love, dependency, life and decisions. I was surprised by what this film ended up being about.

How anyone could give this any less then a 10 is beyond me!! This is one of the most amazing, emotional, sad yet uplifting stories I've ever seen!! I really hope this guy can get onto some sort of talk circuit because he is absolutely amazing... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Would definitely recommend watching this very well made documentary. The guys recovery and attitude throughout is incredibly life affirming and very moving too. It's also a testament to everyone who helped him in that recovery.

I thought the movie was good and terrible what happened to him. But why zero mention of why the wire was there, who put it there, was there a lawsuit?

This documentary really moved me. I saw 2 reviews that mention not empathizing or not feeling sincerity, but I felt the total opposite. This was one of the most sincere, eyeopening documentary's I have ever seen. I have a disability, my life also changed over night, so I can totally relate to the physical and emotional challenges he faced. As the movie went on and he experienced and spoke to each challenge I found those same emotions I once had stir up again. This was NOT fake or insincere! You can't even begin to imagine how ones life is turned upside down, the little things we take for granted are missed the most. I miss dancing, digging my toes into the sand on the beach, running around with my kids. This movie truly captured the ups and downs in life for someone with a disability. Specifically having to look happy and positive with who you now are, while crying inside. As he states, the physical challenges were easy, it's the emotional ones that take a toll. Having that supportive community of family and friends is so vital to recovery and remaining optimistic. I know I would not be where I am today if it was not for my community, I would have given up. Just as Edwardo points out in the movie, it's easy to become laser focused on your recovery and next steps that you are blind to the needs of others, and voicing any appreciation. I'm so happy to hear he is now sharing his life story on a broader scale.....truly inspirational!

I had suggested this one to our school district as true stories of overcoming the odds are always well received. However I quickly withdrew the suggestion based on the profanity and * photos. Unfortunate.

Yawn. I am used to watching documentaries, because they tell real, life stories or they shine a light on issues that need attention. This is about a guy who was hit with a large amount of electricity. This is just one documentary that totally lost my interest.

Man goes for a hike, man gets electrocuted and severely injured. Man recovers. Everything in between makes this movie a "must-see". Very well done as Eduardo who seems a bit of a narcissist comes away matured and even more likeable than at the beginning of the movie. You do cheer him on for not just a full recovery but finding his way and opening himself up to others, helping them.
