I enjoy this movie

There is no way this should have an overall rating of 3.4 with new watchers jumping on in 2018 2019 and 2020. If you go back and watch the film a 2nd time it might surprise the Psyche on how different it is from the original Catwoman. Yes there's a lot of CGI but the overall story and the acting performance from Halle Berry is outstanding. Update the rating!!

I really liked this movie as did my husband and our two daughters, ages 9 and 14. I thought the transformation story was beautifully written and played by Halle. It's refreshing to see a positive spin put on the Catwoman character and my oldest daughter loved the fact that she was just one of a long line of catwomen. My youngest daughter loved the fight scenes, booing the villains and cheering for Catwoman. My husband, who is also a fan of the Batman movies, liked this version of Catwoman more than the Batman Returns version. He has no problem with strong female hero's, bless him. My daughters will be seeing this movie with their friends again next weekend and I just may go with them!

not much to say on this........ except that its f**king s**t !!! I'm sorry, had to let it out. as you will see with my comments i like to keep them fairly short and sweet. i don't like going on for paragraphs about each film because i think no one will read them if there too long. i especially keep them short with bad films because if i do a long comment it'll end up being a list of bad language and profanity i just hate it when people make films like this. the director must of new this film would flop as soon as it gets public viewing. i just don't understand it a few things i will tell you is that the acting in this is like a drama class in toddler school. i hope I've been blunt enough he he. Sharon Stone is terrible in this just avoid this film, its terrible. if you want to watch a superhero movie then watch the batman films, transformers, superman or the fantastic four films........ 1/10........j.d Seaton

I thought Catwoman was a real good film. People started criticizing it mostly because it wasn't based on Selina Kyle. But, if the people would actually read about it before they criticized it, it would be a better understanding. In the old Batman show, the Catwoman played by Eartha Kitt had a granddaughter named Patience Phillips, who lived in Lake city. See?? but I thought it was good. Although there was too much animation opposed to real life, me and all my friends thought it was good. Her costume was real good, because it wasn't copying any other Catwoman of the past, and she looked good in it too. I say go suck a lemon to whoever said it was bad. I thought Halle was a purr-fect Catwoman.

I beg to differ with the critics as well as most of the public (this probably means I am wrong, but this is my opinion and I will keep it nevertheless). I found this to be a decent, above average superhero movie. I found it was very well filmed (the camera is excellent, there are many very innovative angles used), the special effects are good (which cannot be said for many much better rated movies), the sound is very good and the acting is more than passable. Yes, the story is simple to the point of being naively stupid, the screenplay and dialog are full of clichés, but then again, this is not an adaptation of Ezra Pound, this is a superhero movie, and for that is exactly what it is supposed to be; a well made cartoon! Oh, and on one thing I do agree with Ebert... Halle Berry is gorgeous! It is hard to think of any actress on screen ever that has emanated so much sex-appeal, such sheer beauty. She was wonderful to watch, and there is nothing wrong with that, is there?
