Bull

Very enjoyable revenge thriller, mysterious and although you roughly know where's its headed, it's a good short journey to it The acting is magnificent and the final five minutes of anything darker than you'd think it was But delighted to see a father/son revenge/ghost story which doesn't bottle it at the end and sticks with people getting exactly what they deserve.

I cant quite follow this. Feels like I jumped into the 5th episode of a tv-series and missed a lot about the characters. No build up or anything. Too scattered to even get into it. The acting isnt bad but it doesnt feel like a film.

After reading the reviews, I had really high hopes for this film. I have to say the performances were exceptional, with Neil Maskell absolutely commanding your attention whenever he was on screen. Unfortunately I found the plot very unoriginal, and really quite uninteresting. The characters were all fairly one-dimensional, and the "twist" at the end was utterly predictable because it has been done already in other revenge films. The claim that this is "a revenge thriller like no other" is not something I can agree with at all, because I did not see anything in this film which has not been done already.

I guess I shouldn't of expected much for a low budget B Garage British film, but still I still didn't expect it to be that big a piece of crap, the acting is dreadful, the movie is so far fetched, guys just barging into businesses with shotguns, cutting hands off, cops just standing around holding their cranks while people are being murdered, a lunatic slaughtering people, yet no one bothers to call the cops on him, you have another lunatic going around slaughtering people again same story. No cops in sight.. I could go on with the pathetic dribble but I'd be busted for spoilers.. save yourself the absolute pain of watching the crap.. and I suggest IDMB start cracking down on the companies posting 10 star reviews to pump up their dreadful movies.

This is the same story we've seen a thousand times, usually done so much better. There is nothing new here, nothing intriguing, nothing of any interest to me. I could tell immediately it was a low quality movie, barely worthy even for streaming. I like a couple parts where his crazy really shows, but other than that, this movie has nothing of value for me. I really enjoyed this, a great cast of unknown actors, who smashed it in my opinion, really well put together, it might be because I'm British and come from a rough background, but if you ever spent some time on a council estate you'll get the characters, i know some have mentioned the ending, but it's fully explained by the end, *SPOILER* demons have black eyes, at the beginning his driver says, where have you been? And he said to hell, meaning literally, if you watch the end you'll see why some of bulls old friends were terrified, i only got a bit confused when bull was killed, hats off to the actor playing bull by the way, I'm a big guy and i found you scary, the only thing that confused me was the priest at the end, and what his mum said. Did she know bull or was she aware he'd crawled out of hell for revenge? Anyways, i highly recommended this one, very good, realistic and gritty British movie. Hats off to the Director.

A simple premise that is presented in a straight forward simple way that works perfectly albeit in a nonchronological fashion. There are too many revenge movies generally and there are definitely too many revenge movies that suck. And the top reasons that they suck is usually that they are just super wimpy (see Taken, Taken 2, Taken 3, Taken 4 etc) or that they are poorly made (acted, directed, shot etc). At least in my experience anyways. This movie is none of these things. It is super well made (acted, directed, shot, written, etc) especially for this genre. And it may be a number of things but I would not say that it is wimpy in any way. Unflinching, violent, gory definitely but also sincerely and legitimately presented. Fair warning that it may take a bit to adjust to the gutter English spoken by the characters if you're American like me but well worth it if you're inclined to enjoy bloody bloodbath revenge movies like this one.
