Break Night

An exposé into the beating heart of Silicon Valley, this film loads a bullet into the chamber with your name on it the second you become too smart for your own good. A series of interconnected human decisions define our characters while blurring the line between protagonist and anti-hero. With every character living on the frontier of time, this gripping story leaves its viewers in the dark until they are begging to break night.

Good acting and a compelling story but just a horrible situation where those in authority are unrelentingly corrupt and life offers few chances for improvement. Missed the humour referred to by others. Found myself rooting for the protagonists more and more but would have liked to see some tenderness if not actual expressions of love.

Turns, twists, suspense, safecracking, jokecracking, drugs, nudity sex, shooting...loved the surprises and shock ending. Jared Abrahamson perfect!

Good role for Jared Abrahamson from Netflix "Travelers" series, and other actors are well cast, too. Has a "Banshee" sensibility in terms of script and the use of SF Bay Area locations. Definitely worth checking out.

This was a very good crime film, gritty, well written and well directed. The dialogue was especially good, and made the characters come alive, even the minor ones.

Love the safecracking stuff. Nice to see a crime drama with an interesting emotional heart. Love the characters - funny and scary at the same time. Kept me glued to the screen. Great movie peppered with just the right balance of violence, humor and sex. Highly recommend.
