The first 15 minutes of the film will crack you up like hell.Killing with only headshots,fighter planes flying just above your head,arguing over which is better infantry or airforce,static tanks which deliberately run over anti tank mines,both sides fighting with bayonets(knives) for hours when they all have bullets in their rifles and many more things will unfold.The love of Bhairav singh for the soil of his motherland is evident( there is a beautiful scene which shows this).And the best part is the strategy employed by our favorite Major kuldeep singh.Sheer brute force(no plans literally,just attack),visiting the border line just to show his patriotism.Jackie shroff plays a crucial role in the victory by destroying all the tanks of the enemy by just flying over them.Also he uses the planes for recreational purposes.Watch it if you want to win wars.

Border is one of the most overrated films in the history of Indian cinema from the director JP Dutta, who is nothing but an overrated director. The film has uncountable flaws which really shows the callousness of the director for his lack of detailing. The film only runs on patriotic emotion & sentiment. Nothing else is there. Wanna see a good Bollywood movie in this genre? Then go watch URI: The Surgical Strike. Although it has flaws as well but in terms of detailing it's probably the most accurate Bollywood film in this genre so far.

If you have seen Saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers, and believe that a war movie has to transcend beyond phony emotions, then this movie will be a huge disappointment for you. Although war movies are rare in Indian movie industry, ‘Border’ simply dramatizes war taking it far away from reality, lacking basic research, leveraging no technical advancements in sound editing or cinematography that could have significantly enhanced the combat scenes. Heroism or leadership is not a style but is in a person’s character is one message that this movie fails to get across. So what is left is a 3 hours of songs, dances and make-believe camaraderie at the backdrop of a fancy war. Having said that, it still is a daring attempt in Bollywood to make a war movie, but this movie simply underlines how much movie making in India has still to evolve!

Border is one of the bestest movie ever in Hindi cinema this my one of the best and favourite movie ever i have watched many times . Never bored 😉 this movie must watched it. Old is gold 🙂

This movie is a classic. Every aspect of a soldier's life is beautifully shown in the movie. From beginning as the characters are introduced , turning the scene to their personal life events and war scenes ,every thing is written and directed beautifully. Being a army brat this movie was an emotion, from songs to sacrifices made, every scene is marvelous.

first of all sorry for my bad English,because writing about this movie is not small thing for me who is very passionate about his country,i don't know how many times i watched this movie.may be more times then any human can(for his nation patriotic movie). this is the best example for patriotic movie.so.story is just like 300movie with guns.lots of Pakistani soldiers(2000) with tanks were fighting against 120 Indians.(actually its not 120,because.in old saying in Punjab that 1 Sikh =10 human ).so story was kinda related to history of India vs Pakistan war, Talking about dialogues,just awesome,most of the dialogues of this movie will produce adrenaline in your blood.music by anu malik is just fantastic.acting by heroes are just over talented. specially sunny deol....he just rocks,,,,,,if there are any reasons behind, this movie is further more then any 1 can achieve is.his dialogue delivery.its f&*^in awesome.just watch it...

This movie is a big joke including LOC Kargil. Five love stories scripted in a war movie. I say it is a mere fantasy. Moreover it seemed so funny when sunny deol emerged as a one man army with a grenade launcher and ruined the Pakistani party as if they were dummies waiting to get destroyed. This movie has lacked research though was surplus in emotions. Lakshya is the best war movie made in India. It really depicted the horror of war thanks to a good sound editing and camera work. And of course Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers have no comparison. These two movies show how much research and technical aspects like sound editing and cinematography are the important pillars or a good film. I don't when Indian directors will understand their importance

Great story and dialogue. Very good soundtrack and lyrics. Best of this movie is that it gives you patriotic feeling with Anti war message at the ending in the song "Mere Dushman Mere Bhai".
