Boon

Who are the people who populate this film, what are their motivations, backstories or plans? No attempt to flesh any of this out almost as if this was episode 5 of an established TV series despite being a really slow first half as it crawls to a poorly executed and illogical shootout, a waste of even these 'C' list actors!

Nothing about this movie works. Every aspect is below average. Nothing stands out. Everything is forgettable. And it's dumb. (1 viewing, 6/27/2022) SPOILERS A couple things that happen in the first ten minutes tell you what you're in for. We start by hearing exposition about this amazing assassin named Boon, and how you won't be able to tell he's in the room with you until he pops you in the head. Then we see someone try to kill Boon. Boon shoots him and he flees into the woods. Boon catches up to him, is only a few feet away from the man whose back is turned. Boon does not shoot him. Boon does not even raise his gun. Boon waits until the man turns around and points his gun at him. Boon gets shot. Immediate contradiction of the exposition. He wakes up in Catherine's house. Boon asks if she called the sheriff. She says she was going to but he would have bled out by the time the sheriff arrived..... ...... ...... so not calling the sheriff made him not bleed out??? They can't even maintain basic logic at the start of the story.

I just read a bunch of this films reviews. One person said all the negative reviews are some sorta orchestrated attack on the studio..LMAO..The same person who left that review probably works for the studio. Anyways, everything about this film was pretty bad. Especially the actress who played the preacher. She was terrible in this. She had way too much dialouge and almost single handedly ruins the film. And what was up with the sound quality? Throughout the entire film I could hear white noise in the background. The other thing that bothered me was the Emilia Character. I didn't understand why she kept speaking Spanish. Up until the end of the film we're led to believe she's Mr. Fitzgerald's biological daughter. Fitzgerald was obviously Irish and there wasn't a backstory on her mother. The only thing we know is that she killed Fitzgerald's real son by stabbing him in the neck. Which made absolutely no sense to me. Your stepdaughter kills your son and now she's your business partner? Nothing about her character made sense. Bottom line! This movie sucked. Don't bother 4 stars.

This was a good movie. I like both Neal McDonough and Tommy Flanagan. Both Have proven to themselves to be exceptional bad guys. It was nice to see Neal in hero seat.

Currently rated at 6.4 - HOW??? Totally unrealistic. Just as an example, take two guys, each with a drawn gun pointing at each other and wanting to kill the other. Why do they just stare at each other instead of shooting? Why do they wait for the other guy to move? Add to that wooden acting and a pathetic script and lousy music. Dont waste your time on this one.

The reviews for this film so far are way off. Good film. Certainly better than anything B22 films could try to do. Greenbennygreen and Frazenk - two reviewers - are actually the same hateful person that for some reason is jealous...Anyways. Slow burn western with some fun action.

This movie was actually pretty good, certainly not as bad as the 1 star reviewers want to make you believe. For some people there seems to exist only 1 or 10 star ratings and nothing in between. 6/10.

Another amateur hour effort from a team who doesn't look to be getting better any time soon. The budgets get bigger but the movies get worse and how do you even do that? Do yourself a favor and watch anything elese. Even one of there other ones if you can make it through them. This is just bad and embarrassing.

Up until 1 min til the end i would have give 4 or 5 outta 10 -the movie is meh ok for 1 time watch but the acting is terrible but it has good actors so not sure whats gone wrong there -and then there is the ending like they ran outa film to give 0 closure 3/10 avoid - and as for teh i voters that rated this 7 or higher uggh.
