Don't get me wrong, I love sports films, especially films about boxers. And Bobcat Moretti has all of the iconography that makes films about a boxer coming into their own such an exciting genre. But it's not just a film about a boxer. I'd categorize it with the great melodramas like Rebel Without a Cause where you really see the main character go through it and, somehow, when it's over, you feel a lump in your throat and you feel like you've been through something too and come out the other side. Wonderful, emotional performances from Tim Realbuto and the rest of the cast! The film brings together Realbuto, Vivica A. Fox, Sally Kirkland, and Matt Peters. The script and direction are impressive.

First Off-Tim Realbuto is an absolutely, naturally talented actor! The writing and filming were beautifully done. To watch the tragedy unfold of what this character had to endure and push through, was extremely gut wrenching. And at the same time, inspiring. In real life-a human would absolutely give up their fight. But Bobcat, while struggling with all that life hit him with-kept fighting. Luckily-he had people like Vivica Fox pushing him and fighting with him- with encouragement and a family that loved him. I loved the time laps transformation of Bobcat and the mixed bag of characters that also had their share of trauma and problems of their own. But it was within these characters and their storylines that helped to make a well rounded and truly impactful film. **This film needs to be shown in EVERY Highschool in America!!

Tim Realbuto's (writer and title character) mother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 20 years ago and served as an inspiration for this very realistic grounded telling of an overweight and unmotivated MS sufferer who finds a reason to improve his life after finding employment at the boxing gym that his father had made a name for himself, prior to his tragic death. Finding strength from the support of the gym owner, Bobcat works himself back into shape and comes to terms with the loss of his father and builds up his inner strength and self confidence to rebuild his relationship with his family.

Bobcat Moretti's exceptional acting elevates the entire viewing experience. His talent shines brightly, making him a standout in the entertainment industry. It's safe to say that Moretti's contribution is a significant highlight of this production. Bravo, Bobcat Moretti. We eagerly anticipate witnessing more of your outstanding work in the future. With a commanding screen presence and a deep understanding of his character, Moretti effortlessly draws viewers into the storyline. His ability to convey complex emotions through subtle expressions is truly remarkable. Moretti's performance adds depth and authenticity to the narrative, leaving a lasting impact on the audience.

It is an incredible movie, even though there are a few tiny flaws, like the lead not being an actual boxer though he gave it his all and committed. But no movie is perfect. But the acting is top notch and I did not know where this story was going. I would call it a dramatic mystery in all honesty. I also loved ROCKY, but Bobcat Moretti has more intrigue than Rocky. They both have equal amount of heart. Rocky has the romance and Bobcat Moretti has inspiration and likely to move the whole family. My 13-year-old was not excited to see it at first, but loved it and was riveted by the end. We rented it on VUDU. Looked great! And then I bought it after because I knew I would want to watch it again for the mystery and to see if clues were planted by the director.

Most studio films aren't nearly as good as this gem. I was so inspired and blown away by the cast, especially relative newcomer Tim Realbuto who is giving an award winning performance in a very difficult role, and Vivica A. Fox who has never been better! What a treat! Everyone must see this one. I was lucky enough to rent it on VUDU and I'm going to buy it now so I can enjoy it again and again. It was so nice to see Coolio, Mindy Sterling and even Taryn Manning who was excellent. Do not miss this touching masterpiece. It truly is nice to see films like this being made during the strike. It's such a treat to see truly great indie filmmaking. Bravo to the entire cast, and director Rob Margolies for making something so special and memorable.

Bobcat Moretti includes relevant social commentaries within its stories with great acting and excellent background music with each important scenes. The directors, producers, writers and actors should be proud of what they accomplished. I loved it so much I seen it so many times. It is so well written, Directed and performed. Each character is so layered! I enjoyed the journey of learning about them. I was inspired and blown away by Tim Realbuto's performance!!! The Direction of Rob Margolies is wonderful. I really am a fan of his story telling. So relatable with so much real life touch. Absolutely recommend this film.
