Blood Circus

Unfortunately, the title "Blood Circus" was wasted on a generic "underground MMA fight to the death" movie. Really, if you're going to call your underground MMA fighting to the death movie "Blood Circus", then you should incorporate some circus-themed activities: Juggalos fighting each other, MMA fighters dressed like clowns while fighting, MMA fighters dressed like clowns while fighting on a high wire, etc. Sadly, the filmmakers didn't share my artistic vision. The "circus" aspect never come into play. The "Blood Circus" is just a guy who I never believed for a second was a "former MMA champ" fighting an assortment of bums until he has to face off with "Santos", the mysterious "ringleader" behind it all. (Actually, I'm only halfway through the movie, so I'm just assuming he'll fight Santos. If he doesn't, I'll sure look stupid.) A very sad looking Tom Sizemore turns in a bizarre, lazy performance as a detective who, for some reason, talks as fast as possible. I guess the best way to describe his performance would be "imagine someone doing a really bad impression of Brad Pitt in Snatch, minus the accent." I try to say something positive about every movie I watch, so I'll say this: Robert LaSardo turns In a good performance as Santos's henchman. Oh, and all the actress are pretty cute, so there's that.

My quick rating - 2,9/10. And when the circus comes to town, it makes sure to round up all the most pathetic fighters for a fight to the finish. Including our star, retired MMA fighter (in the movie, not bothering with his name, you will never see him again in a flick) who in a desperate attempt to make some money, enters the secretive warehouse fighting league. Every possible rule you can think of about this fight club is broken. You can come and go as you please, you are scheduled to fight and most important rule of Fight Club you can basically talk about it at will. The good news is there is no way the police will find it since it is in a huge city like New York. Oh, yeah, I am lying again, it is in some podunk town where every single person knows each others parents, yet they are hiding this circus with no one knowing where, and what is going on. Leaving bodies in garbage bins still has the genius detective Tom Sizemore unsure of what is going on. Every bit of this movie is so implausible that it makes it funny. Sizemores career choices add to that humor. There isn't even any decent fight choreography to enjoy. Would you like to know the highlight of the movie??? Kevin Nash is in it. I wouldn't want to give a spoiler and tell you his role, but when that ups your rating, you know the rest has to be pretty bad. IMDB, do NOT believe the rest of the reviews, this movie is awful.

An incredible film written by, you guessed it, Eric Weinstock! I am a very harsh grader, but this film just simply exceeded my expectations, and I would honestly give it a 10/10. Watching this movie was a nail-biting experience, I will never forget, with a plot twist you will never see coming! Definitely one of the best fighting movies I have ever seen. Great for the whole family, besides the young ones. A true work of art! This is what movies are supposed to be like! Incredible! Phenomenal! Brilliant acting and writing! I would definitely recommend this movie! Just simply, amazing.

... with a better story, better execution, better actors ... The concept seems solid, but the flow of the story just doesn't work well. In my opinion, it was clearly capable of being a much better movie with the resources which appear to have been available. Over all feeling was someone gathered a few good actors and a group of others without acting skill, or experience, and then shot a movie without regard to whether or not elements of the story made sense. The over all story *could* have worked, but it contains too many implausible elements. Cinematography, sound and set locations are well done. Unfortunately that cannot save a poor script and weak acting.

This excellent film written by Eric Eeinstock is made to perfection. I'm surprised how well it has come out when he is working a second job at the same as a ultra successful dentist. I'm a harsh critic, but there is nothing wrong with this beauty. The elequent words used are amazing and bring this movie to life. I would say this movie is Rocky 2.0. Incredible! Stupendous! Eric weisntock is a one of a kind person. As a previous reviewer said that it brought out the horny audience; well it did and much more. It got my blood flowing in the first scene and then I was crying towards the end with tears of joy. If you don't like this thriller, then you have no purpose in living in the first place. This film blew all the other movies of 2017 out of the water, just like the Germans blew the Lusitania out of the water in WWI. Don't listen to the terrible critics out there who rate this. As; they just are jealous they can't be such a successful two job person like Eric. I really enjoyed the part when one character walked out of the ring disappointed because it reminds me of a story close to home about a town next door who's high school had a walkout after being beat up emotionally. I would recommend this movie to anyone.

What could have been a great plot is let down by some wooden acting. There is no depth or substance to the film and frequently actors look awkward and amateurish. As a previous reviewer said, there was a gathering of a few good actors but even they look lacking amongst the less experienced.

Great film. A great idea executed to perfection. One of the best MMA films I have seen in a while. I would recommend.

First Arlo: The Burping Pig now Blood Circus. When I heard he was writing a new film I was almost like Arlo; I burped joy and happiness. Eric is to screenwriter as Kendrick Lamar is to lyrical mastermind. This is the movie to watch. Forget about Black Panther, Blood Circus is what's up. All the cool kids in school are talking about this movie which is the best fighting film of all time. If you are a kid and want to be cool, you should get on your instachats and snapstagrams and talk about Blood Circus. Eric Weinstock; never forget his name. He also goes by eweinsto and Thor. Back to the movie. Superb! Spectacular! Unreal! Exciting! Outstanding! One-of-a-Kind! Splendid! Superior! Those are only a few words to describe this beautifully put together masterpiece. Yes I said it , this movie is a masterpiece. The actors have great teeth, made great by the writer who also happens to specialize and making root canals disappear. This movie does not disappoint. I went through a full emotional rollercoaster throughout the entire movie. In fact, I loved this movie so much I started screaming Blood Circus in my sleep. (My beautiful wife of 13 years Adrianne told me so). On my way to work I started an Eric Weisntock chant. Yes I may be 40, but I am not ashamed about my life for this feature film. I would recommend this movie to anyone. I would rate it a 69/10 if i could! PS: There should be a video game about this movie. Forget Fortnite, this game will be so much more popular

Top 10 best movies I've seen. Loved every moment of the film. I'll definitely re-watch and recommend to my dudes.
