This was terrible. Slow, uninteresting, boring. You had your white trash looking main characters, and background characters, then you had your pompous, well groomed villains. Nothing was redeemable about this film. Performances were dryer than leftover turkey. The male lead, David, was off putting. I can't take a guy with blushy rosey cheeks serious as a threat. Basically he was a boy in an adults body with powers. But the actor only conveyed one emotion: none. While I was pleased to see the cast we were introduced to in the beginning killed off, it wasn't enough to make me give this more than one star. The film was just so slow and there was no big climax. Even the final death was lackluster. It honestly reminded me of a bad WB show, which is all of them.

I like the door kicking beginning...that was decent...
Okay so it turns out Sally Soforth, the sheriff's daughter, is part of a door kicking home invasion group. They end up breaking into the wrong home, the home of some spell slinging blood cult.
The premise is kinda cool. A little bit of Rosemary's Baby in here but of course no where close to that kind of cool..
It really would be lame to be mind controlled by someone else.
Okay weird ending but appropriate.
Really this movie just kinda averaged its way through everything. No big ups, no big downs.
Not too impressive. Not too Disappointing.

Intelligent and well done on an obviously low budget.
Main parts are acted and written well. Honestly could have been an hour longer and I would have still rated it highly.
No good guys and bad guys, various shades of grey everywhere (well apart form the last 30 seconds).
Really enjoyed it.

"Blood Bound" is a weighted story, with family dynamics, personal conflict, and social complexities. On the surface it is a story about the occult, and overcoming supernatural evil. But to its depth it is a character melodrama pitting self identity against clan mentality. And aesthetically the juxtaposition between backdrops of scenic beauty against such dark and damaged characters is total arthouse.
At the beginning the story falters near to being forced, or convoluted. However it merely teeters there as characters become more developed and recognizable. It is mixed with some moments of quality acting and captivating storytelling. "Blood Bound" feels indie and at times it felt like a Lifetime movie, you know- the creepy kind they play during the Halloween season. I did keep asking "where's the horror"?!
There is some horror in the film but it comes nearly an hour into the story. The supernatural elements are slightly weak, mostly coming off as "make-believe". They seem too understated. The occult aspects beyond that are done nicely, and really give into the witchy vibe that LeMay is going for. Overall "Blood Bound" fails to gain any major ground as far as the horror, but the story is a good one and the film is worth checking out.

I was pretty surprised by this movie. It's not a great movie, but the pacing seems decent. Do not rob people expecially if the practice the ocult. If you have nothing else this is a decent watch.

I will say the movie is not a bad one. It's a horror mixed with...well I think this is a dark version of Twilight.
It was not a good movie, but the acting was nice. As someone said, the chick needed to be hotter. You don't really feel for a decent chick, as you would a hot chick.
The movie is about a cursed family that needs to kill people and a member of his family every quarter century or so.
Three thieves break in and get a rude awakening. The movie needed more sex appeal really, but no a BAD movie, just a bit too much Twilight influence and a lot of the same pacing.
Not a bad movie, not very fun, but decent effort...just not my thing.
Pretty adult themes, I will give it a 6 easily.....some talent is int the movie....

This film was a little too slow and boring. Storyline was also a bit predictable. Still lovers of horror movies would love this anyway.

A trio of townies in upstate, N.Y. break-in to homes. Sean (Eric Nelsen). Brian (Justiin A. Davis ) and Kerry ( Eden Brolin) are also recreational heroin users. A new couple moves into town. They have a chest full of money, unlocked and easily noticed by the movers with a c-note popping out of it. They also let it be known in town, the wife will be left alone on Thursday. Clearly a setup, one where I expected they were mafia looking for revenge.
At 18 minutes (mini Plot Spoiler) we discover they are witches with specific plans to satisfy their ruling demon.
I liked the fact I didn't know where the plot was going. I didn't like the socially awkward character of David (Ross Wellinger ) who reminded me of a sci-fi android that needs someone to bring out their feelings. I also didn't like his punk Bieber-Timberlake "beard". The film had some good scenes, but the plot seemed to move slow. The dialogue was very dry and at times "Twilight" bad. Didn't see the ending coming and where the heck did the baby come from? I think they missed a scene.
