Bland and unconvincing. He used to be the real deal, now he gives us a little chuckle after every "edgy" gag to let us know he's only kidding. The fact that he's playing the Royal Albert Hall says it all - you can't get more establishment than that.

Bill Burr doing what Bill Burr does best - telling the truth in a shocking, and incredibly funny way.
Just as Chappelle was attacked for being blunt a few weeks ago when his special came out, Burr is already getting criticism for this routine. And just like with Chappelle, the more people whinge, the more popular it'll be.
Modern day outrage culture has seen to it that real, cutting edge comedians are in danger of becoming a thing of the past. Burr and Chappelle give me hope that they aren't.

Bill Burr does anti-woke far better than any other comedian around. His natural spite directed at the millennial snowflake and the privileged is balanced by his self awareness that he is a dinosaur. Coming straight after Dave Chapelle: sticks and stones Burr brings a far fresher, busier & funnier performance. I found nothing in Chapelle's show to be offensive, as it was reported to be,(being a Jackson denier will most likely come back to take a bite out of him) but found it all to be beige, low energy output.Chapelle's lower wattage performances are all good but a bit too prescribed for his audience. Burr's stuff is far more polished and punchy. The reason behind this is obvious to anyone that listens to his podcast... Burr puts himself on stage, maybe an exaggerated version, but still it all holds true.
Stand Burr up beside a "comedian" like Joe Rogan who is not at all naturally funny off stage and accordingly has been trying for years to figure out the equation of comedy and has an audience that is massively subsidised by his enormous podcast audience and presence on the UFC. That no comedian calls him out on this is further evidence of his reach and not his comedic talent. Anyone can spend months honing a few good jokes but you cannot teach or therefore learn to be a funny guy. (Just look at girls)
This instalment further cements Bill "the Natural" Burr as one of the all time best everyman comedians and shows no signs of the well running dry.
~Keep the bile flowing Bill you orange so an so.

This is OK material; enjoyable and entertaining enough for newer fans, but leaves older fans questioning if ole billy bombastic is burning out. I happen to agree w/ another reviewer that maybe Bill is losing his edge now that he's a family man. Perhaps the fear of backlash and subsequent loss of his many paychecks is making him more cautious w/ his comedy? I dont' know... Anywayzzz...My honest opinion: This is a one watch wonder. Wish nothing but the best for this guy and appreciate all the hard work he's putting out there for everyone else!
