This movie in no way should be anything more than TV-14, if that. It was not even scary. I've seen scarier bugs bunny cartoons. There was a whole lot of nothing. Once again the stupidity of the characters amazed me. Total waste of time

Not very good, save your time & watch something else!

This movie was selected from a long list of possibilities in a search for a good old fashioned scary ghost story. I am a huge horror fan, and I watch movies a lot. So I consider myself a good judge of the genre This movie made a ton of promises, with very little payout. You get set up for the usual spooky secrets in the haunted house/ basement bit, complete with children to scare witless, and seemingly disgruntled relatives. So lets dig in........and waiting..........and waiting..........Other than a slow passing of character exposition, where we get reminded that there are dark secrets in this house, the bulk of the movie goes by with very little actual supernatural events. Then just before you decide you really have wasted your night on a boring movie, it explodes into a non-stop horror roller coaster. 90% of the action takes place in the last 10% of the movie. The rest of the movie felt juvenile and cheesy. Just too little too late for me.

Upon the death of their mother, Olivia (Addy Miller ) and Claire (Elizabeth Birkner ) go live with their estranged Aunt Beth (Jan Broberg) in a large creepy house. Beth and the house have a history that we see in the opening clip. Claire breaks every rule that Beth has given them and soon the evil entity appears and possession being 9/10ths of the law and half a film. There was nothing bad about the film. The problem is this is crowded genre and it didn't stand out. It needed a hook. Guide: No F-word. sex, or nudity.

This is a strange one. I gave it 4/10. I could have gone lower but what stopped me was the performance of the actors who tried their best with nothing to try, and the production value and I did get some sort of entertainment out of it. There were many holes in the plot and people just get buried and nobody really seems to look for them. The end is also not very good or deep. The police say this was reported as a murder homicide. By whom? Certainly not the husband of the murdered woman, as he couldn't have had any idea about the problem. Nobody could have known. Absolutely inexplicable. That out of the way. It is watchable. If you pretend it is an episode of something like The Outer Limits, you can forgive quite a few faux pas' and just enjoy the ride, despite and maybe even because of the bad and often illogical script. Nothing makes much sense, but you do kind of want to know what comes next. They tried a few twists at the end and even though you may shake your head at another silly thing it won't be in hatred. I wouldn't recommend this as a first choice, but there is far worse out there and if you happen to have to watch it, you won't cry about it either. Rainy afternoon and bored and nothing else on? Then this will hit the spot just fine.

In my view Watching this movie was a waste of time. i don't recommend it.

I've seen better acting out of a week old tuna salad sandwich.

I personally love horror movies. Always have. Ive seen good ones and bad ones as well as horrible ones. This isn't the best movie I've ever seen, but its very very far from the worst. Its nice to characters in a horror movie with a story, character development, and to be honest, some humanity in the characters. For me, a good horror movie delivers more than just gore and jump scares. Id watch this one again.

REVIEW - BEHIND YOU Ok so how many of you have seen videos on YouTube of people standing in front of mirrors and their reflections not copying their movements and in some cases moving in a completely different way. I can't say if there various videos on YouTube are true or not but imagine if they were. If a spirit was inside the mirror making the reflection act differently. So we see 2 sisters being dumped at a relatives house where strange things have been happening and one of the rules is to keep out of the basement. Of course you can guess what happens next and it does but not in a way I've seen before and actually I was quite impressed how the film makers actually made a very tired and used on many occasions story different from the usual rest such as Brahms the boy 2 (yawn). No give this one a try because you may be pleasantly surprised as I was. Rating 6 out of 10
