The crypto market has been profitable for the pro who understands the crypto market structure, but I think the crypto world needs to me more regulated to avoid fake platforms from ripping people's coins/money easily. I Would have lost $360,000 to bitcoinrevolution trying to invest with them hoping to get something more after finding their ad on facebook. I reported to facebook, but nothing was done until I was directed to the right authorities via help@ assetsadvice. Org. Their relentless effort made me recover about 96 percent of my investment. There is no absolute guarantee that users will make profits with every trade.

You won't learn much about the technology of the Bitcoin protocol in this film (as other reviewers have mentioned, other documentaries like 'Banking on Bitcoin' (2016) are better fit for that, or watch Andreas Antonopoulos' educational Bitcoin videos on Youtube), but it is great to get an insight on how Bitcoin can actually help real people out there to improve their lives - people who often don't have access to banking, or have been gradually dispossessed by the state. With Bitcoin, they are in full control of their money, and can transfer it borderless, uncensorable, and unstoppable. They can receive money from overseas with little or no (Lightning Network) cost. It also introduces us to a few great individuals who are engaged in educating their fellow countrymen about Bitcoin and it's value propositions to improve their lives and to help them avoid falling for the various scams and failures in the 'crypto' space (like pyramid schemes or so-called 'altcoins'). They are good examples of the Bitcoin community, which is dedicated to hold up Bitcoin's fundamental values like liberty, freedom, property rights and helping everyone who is genuinely willing to learn. Pretty much the only critique I have is the narrator - hard to understand, sounding annoyed. Maybe an altcoiner (insider joke). ;-)

Very few times we see a "documentary" that is blalantly based on lies and economical propaganda as this. By no means this can be called a revolution, unless you corrupt the original meaning of the word and change for a piece of crap like this "crypto-currency", which is an economical derivate, something that doesn't have any real economical base. It is not strange that this economical fenomenon starts in Africa, were Neoliberalism first apply its nociviness into all African countries, devastating almost all the countries in were it was apply. And to that you call it "revolution"? I call it scam, because that it is. When the snowball will fall, and I can sure you it's going to be big time when that happen, I hope people remember this piece of economical propaganda and acknowledge they were the first on clapping this crime. If you like to hear lies one after another and feel good about it, this is the kind of crap you need. Of course, yuo have to be a complete cynical to name this a "Bitcoin revolution". There is no such thing as "Bitcoin revolution", and you can see how Africa is sinking in poverty for Western greedy because they can believe anything Western sell. The "Enron revolution" doesn't ring any bell? When all collyde, you will finnally wil listen the names of all crooks and criminal who sold the idea of the Bitcoin as something susteinable. I rate this crap 1 since I cannot give it negative numbers, but this is an actual crime enveloped as a long advertising of the benefits of something that is clearly a fraud.

An accessible documentary on cryptocurrency in Africa. Very interesting to see the potential that this technology has to solve infrastructure problems. Relatable and informative with some good insights from real people working in this area.

In a time where the internet is inundated with heavy content filled with technical jargon and influencer marketing - this docu takes a lighter approach. It's obviously going to take a lot of work to get to this utopian but it's nice to spread a little optimism and inspiration. Otherwise how else would we get there? Is this for the crypto fanatics? Definitely not. But it covers enough of the fundamentals to draw people into initiating their journey and for that it deserves the credit.
