Bad Channels is another full moon movie made by Charles band and it is really good, funny, stupid and a so bad it's good some of this is just music videos from radio stations while the other half's is a alien and Star Wars rip-off but it is something original and creative then just having killer dolls/puppets taking over like his other stuff so if you have the time to watch it!

He was in it like some sort of alternate universe cut in a rockstar video type of thing but he was also a fry-chef or something in a diner , very odd, I couldn't udnerstand what was going on the entire time, the aliens came down to absorb like four cute human chicks into lil' jars but then it looked like they were baking soemthing like some pie alien I guess I don't know, but then they accidently found out how to extricate themselves from this intricate alien plot device thing , that was very basic and weird but it was nice cause no one died! And then I was like wow, that was so weird I didn't know Blue Oyster Cult were like metal! I thought they were classic rock. But cool lil' bubble gum zombie cheerleaders and bubble-gum 80's flix but it wasn't quite 80's since it was 92 but Ron began his career in the 80's , it had an 80's feel! Cool!

This one isnt one of their best. For a Full Moon Productions movie, this one starts out extremely slow, almost like they were trying to play it straight for once, but it just doesn't work. Now, none of the actors in ANY movie from this production company are ever going to win Oscars, but the acting in this is worse than usual, and the special effects are pretty bad. Basically a prelude to the "Doll man" movies, its easy to see why there wasn't a million sequels to this, like most of the franchises in the Full Moon catalog. Skip this one and stick with Full Moons "classic" franchises such as "Killjoy", "Evil Bong" , and "Gingerdead Man"

Cheesy aliens attack and take over a radio station. The film stars original MTV video jock (remember when they played videos?) Martha Quinn, America's girl next door. She plays a TV reporter and while she was my favorite at MTV, she can't act. The film also features a number of bands: Fair Game, D.M.T. and Sykotif Sinfoney in what could pass for videos. Sound track by Blue Oyster Cult. This is a cult style film, coming available on mutli-packs. A radio station announces about an alien take over and people believe it is a stunt. Where is Orson Wells when you need him? Guide: 3 F-bombs. No sex or nudity.

Bad Channels (1992) is another Full Moon Features picture available for free on Tubi. This movie is directed by Ted Nicolaou (Subspecies and Vampire Journals) and tells the tale of an alien invasion where the aliens leverage a radio station to abduct women. The storyline, aliens and acting are all terrible. The concept for this film was to focus on the soundtrack and rediculous aliens...it didn't work. The acting was also cheesy and the cast includes Martha Quinn (Dead Heat), Robert Factor (The Eye), Paul Hipp (Face/Off and Leathal Weapon) and Aaron Lustig (War Dogs). Overall this movie was a bad concept and isn't really worth your time, even for horror enthusiasts. I'd score it a 2/10.

Well, you certainly won't expect Citizen Kane renting this movie, but it's mildly entertaining. Martha Quinn really needed to have a better agent, given this and other career killers, but her chemistry with Paul Hipp (Dangerous Dan O'Dare) is enjoyable. The goal of the rest of movie is one thing pure and simply: titillation, and it doesn't accomplish that. The rock video visions, which I'm sure were intended to give a rock-n-roll edge to the movie, simply detracted.

Yes, of course the movie is campy, ridiculous, pointless and under budget. But it is a gem in the Early full moon vault. I love it! Own it and watch it from time to time. IT makes me chuckle. Much better than many of the Recent jokes Full Moon is releasing.....Hard to find...however, check Ebay.... 6 out of 10
