Ayogya is the remake of the Telugu film "Temper". It features Vishal in the lead role and has Parthiepan playing the antagonist. Well, this is the first time that I see Vishal playing a grey shade role. He is a corrupted police officer and with so many flaws. His only desire in life is money, money, and money. Vishal's performance in this film seems to be the only breathing element that keeps us driving along with him. The other supporting actors have nothing more than accusing Vishal's Karnan for his bad deeds or encourage him to go further. Parthiepan who enjoyed a very interesting negative role in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan seems to have not so much to do in this film. Ayogya has unnecessary subplots and deviating songs which reduces the pace of the film. The not so interesting first half seems to have a better second half. In fact, Ayogya's main strength lies in the second half where the film changes its color. We are getting more serious and we get what we need from the film. There are so many things that are happening through the narration and Vishal's transformation from the corrupted police officer to the reforming responsible police officer shines brightly in this middling action film. Sam C.S's soundtrack doesn't add anything to the film but his background score is worth it. As a director, Venkat Mohan packaged Ayogya with the usual commercial elements and a very strong and sincere social message. Honestly, the climax is the place where Ayogya becomes unique and refreshing. The intense dialogues and the bold performance of Vishal seems to lift that special portion to a new extent. Overall, the surprising and hard-hitting climax makes Ayogya a watchable entertainer.

Ayogya is about Karnan (Vishal), a corrupt policeman who whorships money more than anything. At least that's what he thought of himself.
The plot is carried by the development of Karnan. The antagonist is great, too. Both Vishal and Parthiban did justice to their roles. Background score and cinematography were just decent.
The first half provided a great entertaining setup. Surely it had unnecessary masala elements, but it was still consistent. The second half was unfortunately dragged down with unnecessary repetitive dialogues and the typical narrow minded idea that death fixes everything.
Disclaimer: I didn't watch the original movie. Therefore I can neither compare it to the blueprint, nor ignore mistakes provided from the original plot.

Eventhough the first half is soo slow and irritated... The second half will give the worth of of watching. The second half is tightly packed with emotions and the truth that can happen. When I started to watch the movie I didn't expect this emotional ending, also thought this was all about comedy.. But from the starting of the second half entire flow of the film changes to the most emotional and sensational truths around us..
Anyway this film is awesome and worth watching...

Waste of time. Usual story and lots of hero dialogue. 2 points for climax.
