It takes a certain amount of ingenuity to create a "bottle" movie in one location and keep it interesting and entertaining. Was very impressed with the dialogue and engaging performances from the actors. Good dark comedy helps you laugh at painful things and identify with the characters, even if you hate them a little bit too, and Avalanche delivers here.

A fun quirky film with witty dialogue and characters that are complicated in the best way. I laughed, I cringed.

When I went in to watch this and I saw how the story opened I thought it was going to go one way, but it totally went a way I didn't expect. It was not a predictable story. Overall the film was fun, the dialogue witty, well written and delivered with precise comic timing from the impressive cast who were really solid throughout. I particularly loved the chemistry between the husband and wife characters, the little moments they shared together were nice little snippets. As a filmmaker myself I really thought the pacing moved the story along well and the editing in the chaotic scenes between all three characters in the same room was well done. Watch this film to see something really different, witty and well acted.

I went into this one completely out of the blue - not knowing a thing about it, and found a movie that looks at infidelity in a way that I hadn't seen before. Production values are solid, as is the acting, especially by the husband/librarian character. Some character motivations and flashbacks could have been clearer, which I think would have helped the overall narrative and clarified character motivation. Also, I found some of the score to be a tad irritating in spots (intentional, perhaps?), but I enjoyed watching Avalanche unfold.

An impressive blend of ridiculous comedy and melancholy. Indie comedy's are so hard to Pull off but if you're up for a quirky, off the wall and oddly endearing film then this is a decent choice, funny script, good performances and loved how the gags seem to overstay they're welcome at times, making it so much funnier.

You have to admire indie filmmakers who often must rely upon good storytelling without all the bells and whistles that big studios have. Avalanche has done a great job of crafting an engaging drama/comedy all in just one location. It holds your attention and is cleverly plotted and executed. Actors were on point and I was thoroughly entertained throughout.

This film totally cheered up my Thursday night! I think this film would make a great sitcom. Fun indie film recommended!

Came across this movie after diving into Indie movies recently. I was impressed by the cinematography and acting, the writing was funny but slow at times. It can't be hard to set up a whole movie in one location, though. I ended up googling "one-location" movies after watching this one and loved some as much as this one.

Really poor film. Bad acting from all apart from the main character, frustrating and such an anti climax. There are better films to spend a couple of hours watching.
