Shocking to read some of the negative reviews. It's as if some people were watching the wrong movie. This movie was terrific! We watched it as a family and enjoyed every minute of it. The elephant's are amazing to see in this film and were our favorite part. Elizabeth Hurley looks beautiful and gives such as good performance. Well worth the watch!

It's rare when movies can combine entertainment with an important message, An Elephant's Journey has achieved this! I teach grade 6 in Houston, TX, and I showed this movie to my class along with the Dr. Richard Leakey interview which is on the DVD. My class enjoyed the movie a great deal and we had a good discussion afterward about the elephants, their situation, and wildlife conservation in general. I really appreciate that this movie stars a young man and was made for the next generation that will soon inherit the planet. I agree with what Richard Leakey says in his interview that our generation has largely failed, and it's up to the next generation to do better. Share this movie!

This movie is about a lost orphan boy who meets up with an elephant, and the two of them challenge the African elephant poachers together. This is a great movie for raising awareness about the elephant poaching crisis, which to me is quite tragic, I wish we could stop it. The movie is also very wholesome and appropriate for the entire family. I like how the main character exhibits bravery, loyalty, and love. Overall it's a great little film everyone can enjoy, and learn from.

I was disappointed with this one. I really hoped it'd be an amazing movie with great visuals and a story. But after about 10 minutes in to the movie, I badly wanted this to be a documentary rather than a feature film. Stupid decisions the characters make are just there for the progress but the logic is failed badly. For kids I think this has some good vibe but not for adults.

I watched this movie twice! I am gonna be showing my mother because I know she loves elephants as much as I do. I truly believe this movie is so inspiring and it is really cute. It also made me emotional haha

In the face of a tragic slaughter of elephants comes a very timely and critical film that everyone should watch. The movie is both informative and emotionally moving as we follow a lost boy and his new found elephant friend take on the African elephant poachers. Expertly made and photographed in Africa, I enjoyed every minute of this very solid production.

If you love elephants then you have to watch this movie. Not only does it inform about the elephant poaching crisis, but it allows you to see beautiful elephants in the African wild. They are majestic creatures. The story is engaging and well written, some nice twists and turns to keep the viewer interested. That is one lucky young actor that got to spend his time in Africa with the elephants!
