you will likely be sorely disappointed by this sequel that's not a sequel.AWIL is a classic.but this movie is about as far from being a classic as you can get.what a joke.special effects that aren't very special,horrible dialogue,non acting.and a laughably ridiculous subplot quickly and unconvincingly,(not to mention fleeting)tacked on with about a third of the movie left.did i mention the story is less then lame.there's no way this was supposed to be serious horror movie,yet it's to stupid to be funny in any good way.the rating it currently has(4.8/10)is too generous if you ask me.my rating for An American Werewolf in Paris:a 3.5/10

When i first saw this film, i thought it was going to Bite (and not in a fun way). A sequel to the masterpiece? Paris? But I was wrong. In many ways this movie surpasses the original. The special effects were cool, the acting was great and the change in concept from the London loner to the Parisian cult was wisely done. All in all a great movie. I failed to see where the plot coincided with the London saga, supposedly the female werewolf in this is the offspring from the original American, but I must have missed the scene that links this.

This movie is self acclaimed sequel of An American werewolf in London and apart from the title nothing is similar. The plot of the movie is very much predictable and poorly directed. The screenplay is also cliché so as the dialogue though the plot was interesting and a good movie could've been made from it. It's seems that the director was in a hurry to end the movie. The plot was not told properly and left on the wisdom of the viewers to understand as per their liking. Overall a bad movie

I'll admit it doesn't live up to its predecessor, "An American Werewolf in London" but I thought it was enjoyable to watch. The werewolves themselves looked kinda funny because you could tell that they were unfinished c.g.'s was my only thought. But the end confuses me, "When Andy fights Claude on the train and deliberately takes the drug in his chest (and yes if you watch carefully it is on purpose NOT accidental) and then kills Claude and eats his heart (yuck) why is the curse broken in Serafine"?. Claude stole the blood from HER not vice-versa, this makes her the original not Claude.

I saw this film in theatre when it came out and I really liked it. The movie is a great 90s "modern" adaption of the classic with its own spin. It's funny at times but also pretty gory. I recently just rewatched this film in 2019 and I have to say, it still holds up and the graphics and special effects (when they turn into werewolves) are pretty great. Also the soundtrack is awesome. AHH something about 90s teen flicks, you can't beat it. I remember seeing Bush's Mouth music video and it featured this film.
