I rated this 10 stars to counter the one-star reviewers. All or nothing, that seems to be the acceptable trend...so I'm rating it "all". Wow - on this budget, I was floored. I loved the characters. I found the acting excellent for first-timers. Seeing that the producers and actors were related to each other was not a surprise; but having made independent films myself, I was shocked at how well this was put together. I related to the filmmakers and the characters. I have had to call in suspected abusive behavior, and have been in both characters' shoes. I felt this was very realistic. The vigilantes made stupid mistakes. The coward, the thoughtless renegade, the smooth-talking pedophile. Yes, they are all common types, but well-played here. The only thing I didn't like was the end. I don't think anyone can argue they were on the edge of their seats. If you read other reviews, you'll see people watched until the end. You don't even have to leave your couch to change the show on Netflix.

I saw the preview for this movie and it looked really interesting!! Well let me just tell you how WRONG the previews are! The 2 main characters should SErIOUSLY think about different careers...for themselves AND any viewers out there!! They are not blessed with acting...even in a children's play. The yelling and screaming and fighting. OMGosh!! Seriously?? The ENTIRE movie!!! I literally had a headache and ringing in my ears after the movie. This is the WORSt movie I have ever seen. It will actually give you anxiety from all of the arguing. I created an IMDb account just to review this movie. That's how bad it is. Don't waste your time. If you decide to chance it, take pain reliever before hand!

Rarely do i come across a movie that i feel i have to go out of my way and write a review but looking from the low ranking this movie got i felt the need i gave it a 7 heres why The movie starts of slow and honest very annoying with the female voice alone turning me off but if you get past the ill say first 4o min Thats when the movie really picks up and not to give any away anything The house scene had me on the edge Sure there's a lot to nit pick on the movie like the story is weak But it drowse you into really cheering for this actors The ending is what got me and best of all This movie actually made my girlfriend believe it was actually a true story since we have kids this movie really upset her. Kids or no kids give this movie a chance if you could find it Trust me people there's a lot of garbage out there so i am not here to waist your time I keep it real look for my other reviews like The Purge big let down hope this helps from 1 big horror fan to others slash you later.

I have made an account just to comment on this film.This is singlehandedly the worst film I have ever seen and I have watched some pretty bad ones. It was extremely anxiety-inducing (and not the good kind from a quality horror film.) It was seventy-five minutes of arguing and seventy-five minutes I cannot get back. The actors were terrific, the characters were not. The only other positive to this movie was how realistically it was done. The authenticity was excellent. I would give it less than one star if I could and would not recommend watching it unless you enjoy feeling like you are stuck in a car listening to two people scream at the top of their lungs.

First time reviewer here yes this movie was that bad it made me want to punch a hole in my TV the actors where that annoying. Spoiler Alert the true amber alert should be warning you that your about to be ripped off like never before. Can a video of two people driving around in a car arguing back and forth pretty much repeating the same thing hurry up slow down your to close over and over again really be considered a film I should go out and record my dog taking a deuce and it would be more interesting than whatever that was I just saw definitely better. Also to the reviewer before who said no film deserves someone to ask for an hr of there life back I hope the rest of your life is as miserable as this movie was its people like you that cause this world to have so many charity cases your to afraid to hurt feeling this should of never been seen its that bad corny horrible acting no real dialogs besides pointless bickering I would rather pass kidney stones than watch it again

I think this film should get a lot more credit than a lot of people are giving it! This movie had me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was watching it and I even found myself crying at the end! I see why some viewers may be annoyed by the bickering characters, but I actually found it to be realistic and engaging for the audience! It made me think--- If it causes me to think....it's a good film! The characters made a few bad decisions, but there would not be an interesting movie if they had not made those bad decisions- it would have been over after 30 minutes! I think most parents would appreciate this film. It educates you on the creeps that are lurking around our children. Beware…..If you have a little girl!! You may cry!!

IMO no movie deserves a comment like 'can i get this hour of my life back'. To make a movie it takes money, dedication and passion and that should be respected no matter the personal opinion of the watcher. That said, this movie did have some flaws but it was refreshing to watch a movie that had an original story. The story centers around 2 friends and their sighting of a car that they have seen highlighted in an Amber Alert. (being an Aussie I didn't know what an Amber Alert was but thanks to this movie I now do). The friends follow the car for most of the movie eventually facing off with the driver of the car. Although the actions of the friends is not what most of us would do if faced with the same situation it would not have been much of a movie if they simply waited for the cops to do their thing. It is obvious that the makers of this film wanted to highlight the benefits of the Amber Alert 'system' whilst still keeping watchers entertained and that is exactly what they did. The very final scene is important and ties the story together very well. I really loved this movie and was glued to the screen the whole way through. It has an intelligent and important message yet is still entertaining. I would recommend it to anyone who has a passion for Found Footage and wants a break from the Paranormal Activity type of FF flick.

Yet another simply putrid 'found footage' film that had me hating life for an hour and a half. This one has to do with a trio of extremely irritating dimwits following a car that's been involved with an amber alert. Strike that, I only loathed two of the three characters as the cameraman only talks sporadically throughout the movie. Ironically, the child molester was the least annoying person in the film. (Something that would make Victor Salva, director of Jeepets Creepers and Powder happy) Instant Netflix gets a lot of crap for having truly awful movies in its lineup. This film does nothing to dissuade that notion. My Grade: F

This is seriously one of the worst movies I have ever watched. The only reason I even made an account was to make a review for this horrible ANNOYING movie. The actors are seriously so bad. My little brother can act better than them. All they do is argue for literally half the god damn movie and it gave me the worst headache. Whoever made this movie needs to reevaluate their lives and the way they make movies. I just don't understand how someone can direct such a horrible, annoying, irritating movie and think its good ? The main characters also need to take acting classes or just never act in a movie ever again. PLEASE DON'T WATCH THIS YOU WILL REGRET IT. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.
