This movie is awesome.. I love the actors, and ali's Father may his soul Rest In Peace.. it's really good movie and funny as well..

A classic story where a man lies to everyone and at the end he confess, get the girl and forgiveness. Except that the main hero is selfish coward. There is nothing good about this movie.

Amazing movie. I kept on pushing watching it back thinking it's an Australian movie with Arab actors, no good can come out of such a combination, but I was wrong! Great movie, great acting, great story, great acting.. I know I said it before but absouloutly great acting. Where have they been hiding such talent? Great acting!

This movie could have been made with a parody of Arab culture and some of the societal issues that are part of it but it was made with complete haphazard nonsensical parody of Islam. Granted, there were some funny moments that could have been improved upon.

A must see film.You shouldn't miss it. Contains good acting & excellent story. Based on real fact this is undoubtly a good one for muslims or non muslims.I hope you will enjoy .

A true story... Unfortunately. The best review on this movie is just this short sentence. You have to born & live in a Muslim community to feel & understand what he's trying to say.

Warm comedy with a great storyline while weavering in current and recent middle eastern events

Saw this movie on Netflix and chose to watch it on a lazy Sunday Characters were very relatable and fell in love with the fathers teachable stories. Could relate to the expectation to conform(for the main character), in a religious sense. Loved the lead character and felt he did a great job showing his struggle to please parents with their expectations and finding what he in his heart wanted to do. Even if his timing was bad and his execution was suspect. Loved that the lead female character smart strong woman, who had a mind of her own and not someone who is just going to go along with the program she had her own wants and needs and was not willing to sacrifice them to make a man happy or to make him fall for her- very refreshing If you are looking for a lighthearted romantic comedy try this movie! You will be happy you did.

Such a random binge watch that turned out to be such a worthwhile viewing. Hits all the right notes of a rom-com and does so much more than just any other rom-coms. A really recommended light hearted flick!
