Alienated

We watched this movie and got bored. Told hubby I thought this was going to have an English Patient ending because the build-up was similar. We continued on. Well, that big ending didn't happen. The acting was labored and inconsistent. I guess the low budget was apparent.

Abrupt, disconcerting, stereotypical script and acting... Couldn't watch but the first ten minutes. Cinematography was well done, but cuts felt awkward.

This is a charming story that keeps your attention. Gracie Lacy was captivating, showing a talent that I hope to see again. The movie dances around a minimal budget to deliver an enjoyable experience.

My lasting impression is that the film was too long by quite a lot. There is a real low budget feel to the production and the acting was hit and miss but the story did have a few interesting turns. Overall I think I would have enjoyed this more as a short film.

It has some small flaws but the script and passing so good! No bad for a low budget movie! Even better than some hollywood movies. Special effects and editing very good! Not to mention the script.

I haven't seen such a bad script and acting since twilight..

This is one of those scifi movies that falls into a niche that grows on you with every viewing. It has all the elements for a fantastic scifi-romance movie. Yet resists falling into the low budget cheap effects movie category. Even belivable to a degree. Hats of to the directors and actors for pulling this off in a great fashion. Thank You!!! This 1 made it to my shelf as a keeper and special movie for this old-time scifi movie guy. I highly recommend it and is worth every star I gave it!!!

It's almost impossible for indie movies to compete against big budget Hollywood effects, but I had fun watching this one. If low budget SciFi is your wheel house, you might want to check this one out.

I enjoyed this, although I did fast forward though some of the "dad" stuff - I was there for the sci fi. It was actually pretty intelligent and talked about real science, unlike many movies that only try to be sci fi. The Freud joke about the rocket was funny too and shows the writers are educated and witty people. I think most anyone could enjoy this movie, whether they are sci fi fans or not. I'm not sure why so many 1 rating reviews. But those are always suspect. How many movies are actually so bad they only deserve 1? Certainly not this one.

I've been waiting to watch this for a while and I absolutely loved it! Liked the chemistry between the leads and Gracie Lacey is gorgeous and portrayed her character with a natural likeability and charm. Hope to see more of her and more films by the director! Well done!
