A security guard who quickly rises to the top and makes billions, where he and his partners convince people into suspicious investments with the promise of doubling their money in no time.
The film is a drama based on dark comedy, and tells in a distinctly Hollywood manner the story of the most famous fraud by issuing contributions on Sawa recharge cards in Saudi Arabia about 20 years ago, which was known at the time as Hammour Sawa.
The film's idea was characterized by its bold presentation, realism, and events that attracted the viewer from the first to the last moments.
It's a must seen movie.

As a person from the Gulf, I was very happy to see movies and TV shows based in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
I started started watching AlHamour. H. A. Thinking it would be of a traditional Saudi security guard who I relied on as a child. However, this movie was not that. The main character is shown as a decent Saudi man with little to no background detail. The rising action of him switching careers to earn more money was exciting. But a respected Muslim man drinking, doing drugs, was a disappointment. After he becomes successful, the first thing he does is divorce his wife for a blondie. Why it is always like this? In the ending, they show how the investors of him company took off and he was left with cash shortage and pretends to be a dog to an investor he signed a 400 million SAR agreement with before he apologizes to his mom for divorcing his wife as he goes outside to get arrested and serve twenty years in prison.
Don't get me wrong, the movie is great to watch especially is you're from the GCC or grew up here. But the era of the early 2000's they were showing was not met. There was a small scene of them visiting Bahrain to work but in reality they only partied. They bought banned cellphones which were confiscated at the causeway. And they didn't show any negative scene, just a dialogue which was also a disappointment.
Overall, it was an exceptional attempt to make a movie based in Saudi Arabia but copies too much of wolf of Wall Street while claiming to be different than the west and Europe within the movie. I believe this gives both parties a bad impression to the public, even if it may be true.

An enjoyable and well-written film. What I like most is the acting, which is very convincing, especially the main character Hamed. The flow of the story is clear and not confusing, and with the beginning of Hamed we see the development of the character step by step. I think that in the middle of the film there was a gap in the course of events, but the situation was rectified. The level of humor is beautiful. Very, I find myself laughing non-stop. The situation comedy is very nice and suits the atmosphere of the movie. The writing is very good and the dialogues are on point. The ending is very satisfactory and fits the story. I hope to see Saudi works at this level.

What a nostalgic brilliant piece of art!
Saudi Arabia before and after..
The movie is based on a true story yet the story telling was so nostalgic and represented an era that we all lived and connected to the bitter sweet of it. Some might find it too bold but I loved how transparent it was. The humor and jokes were AMAZING.
I don't get the bad review, do yourself a favor and watch it! Acting was top notch! The main characters did an amazing job! Cant wait to see them all star in other movies.
Best Saudi movie so far! Watched it 4 times already and don't mind watching it again (probably on Netflix).

I loved this movie so much. The story, the characters, the dialog, the jokes, most actors did very well. It kind of reminded me of Wolf of Wall Street but the Saudi way.
I really loved that it was based in Jeddah (my hometown) and they did really well of showing how it was in Jeddah during what i assune in the early 2000s with the conversations, music, style, etc.
The movie is very realistic and relatable. Hamed character was amazing. I went through different emotions which is great and it was very nostolgic.
They could have done better with soundtracks but still good. I loved how it started and how it ended o bs great movie.

The movie is a I understand the +18 rating as it pushes the boundaries in saudi cinema when it comes to explicit content, the acting is spot on with a few misses when it comes to the chemistry between the lead actor and his second wife. The cinematography is not consistent as you got some top notch shots followed by mediocre ones, it's like different teams worked on the project. The dialogue is very smart and the world building of early 2000's saudi is a refreshing nostalgia.
My main critique is that you can tell the movie took notes from wolf of wallstreet, and in someway it felt cringe
Overall, the movie is a fun, daring, sincere and true to the real story and I consider it a big step up to where Saudi cinema started.

For a first time director , it's actually VERY good .. although the story telling was horrible , it was too focused on women/ partying and missing important story parts , characters were introduced as cool but there's really no depth to them .. the guy mentioned he loved asian culture/women? Never saw it again , the guy who was very good into selling illegal stuff? Never saw him doing it .. there's just so much story but too little details and much focused on the partying side .. i wanted to see more characters depth and more story telling , i hope this find the director well. The wolf of wall street is a great reference to understand what i meant .. the director gave us characters depth while ALSO showing partying and other stuff , the ending was so funny and one of the best saudi movies i've ever seen , good work.

The movie is a hopeless attempt to copy 'The Wolf of Wall Street movie but failed badly. The acting is really bad, like the actors just didn't know how to make their characters interesting or real. The story is just a bunch of old, boring ideas put together, and it doesn't flow well at all. It's clear the movie wants to be exciting and funny like the original, but it's just not. It's hard to watch because every scene feels forced and clumsy. It's a big disappointment and shows how not to make a movie. Watching it is a real test of patience.
I would advice those who didn't watch the Wolf of Wall Street to invest their time wisely.
