I think you need to be high to appreciate this movie. The storyline premise was intriguing, but the actual details? Not so much. I mean the dude that's having a heart attack? People - you don't give CPR if the person is still breathing. You don't use a auto-defribrillator if the person says "I'm having a heart attack" but is still moving around (besides, auto-defribrillators won't work in that instance). If that woman with seizure activity was THAT sick, she would have kept the medication at her side. I seriously can't even...

Everything about this movie is hokey. As a former military and now commercial pilot, I could go on for hours about the technical flaws in this film, the aviation dialog alone sounds like it was written by a couple of grade school kids playing with their GI Joe dolls. Most filmmakers don't control this and don't know any better, unless they have a really good technical adviser. But let's look at the movie production, things they do have control over. Have these costume designers ever heard of an ironing board? You know, one those things you use to make a shirt look nice and crisp? From the commercial pilots to the Air Force officers on Air Force One, everyone looks like a rag bag. The shoulder boards are backwards, the shirts are too big on most actors and are so wrinkled, they look like they pulled them out of a dirty hamper. How did the director let this slide? I watched just long enough to be disgusted and turned it off. About 20 minutes.

This movie was so bad it was funny...honestly...throughout the entire movie are funny unbelievable scenes you'd never think anyone would publish. The movie makers should bow their heads in shame but it was worth the laugh and so I watched it until the end. And what did that captain drink at the very end?! Sums up the entire movie. I'm still rotflmao 😅😅😅😅

CONTAINS SPOILORS, BUT DOES IT REALLY MATTER? Passengers throw an apparent live missile out of the plane, then plugged the hole in the plane, with...luggage and the sad part is thats not even the most ridiculous thing that happened in this movie. If you don't already know, Air Force one is on a collision course with a passenger plane because somebody thought it would be a good idea to take air traffic controlling completely out of the hands of humans with no way to override the system. Of course, we were never told why satellites and whatnot begin falling from the sky, but thats OK. After watching this junk, I don't want their explanation. Anyway, I honestly don't believe this movie was serious, so I won't write a serious review, but just know that this movie was as trash as they come. You will probably laugh at how ridiculous the physics are though, which is good. Watch it on Netflix if you're really THAT bored.

I can't imagine how anyone funded and produced this movie, let alone releasing it on RedBox. This movie is full of errors from beginning to end! Starting CPR and using a defibrillator on a conscious person, then when they die covering their head and placing them in a seat next to a live person. Covering a large hole in the side of the aircraft with luggage to maintain cabin pressure. Picking up a missile then throwing it out a opening that ended up blowing up a building on the ground. I still can't believe individuals calling themselves actors lowered their standards to this degree and someone financed it. I got a bridge I would like to sell them.

OK this was not Airport. But it is not that bad. The beginning is pretty slow. But then the action picks up. Seems we have a ATC in Cleveland who predicted what was going to happen. Seems some new ATC system is being put in that will lessen the amount of mistakes ATC's make. Well I guess we can thank Ronnie Reagan for that. And it has started. They send the ACAP ( the system) by satellite but all of this space debris starts falling from space including the new doo dad ATC system ACAP. They look like fireballs. The ATC is requesting that all planes be grounded but no one listens. Air Force One is one of those planes. We now see fireballs coming from the sky destroying anything in its way. The ATC in Cleveland is working with a rookie. So we know what is gong to happens. The actor is Reginald ValJohnson who has been in numerous movies like this. The movie focuses on Air Force One and a passenger Plane. Turns out they are in direct collision with each other but neither knows because the ACAP is broken and all communications are down and the ACAP has rendered the pilots in Air Force One useless. They have to get these special numbers to over ride the system but the President has it and there is lasers all around the airplane to keep unauthorized people away. Of course this becomes a problem. The President has a daughter and his wife on the plane. The daughter has wandered off on a tour with the purser of the new plane. Fireballs are coming from the sky and the ATC is insisting all planes land. He is being nixed by some idiot who will not let the Presidents plane land. The ATC has a partner who has to get to a tower to communicate with the airplane and use the old system. I am not going to tell the rest of the movie. But it had me on the edge of my seat. All I require that a movie entertain me. And this one did. Take a look and forget about the budget.

Reviewers 'derlowen' and 'gueststar57' are on the right track - a fun movie that is definitely a send-up of old air disaster movies. All the reviewers who wrote about its inconsistencies and errors had better be writing this same review for hundreds of other movies out there. Don't take it so seriously people! I liked seeing the Die Hard actor featured and the President actor was clearly having fun with the script. I'd like to see him play the President or a Senator on "30 Rock" or a "24"-type show! There were some other actors I recognized from movies or TV over the years and it was cool spotting them in this movie. Yes I agree, a little overdone on CGI at times, but not something that kept me from enjoying it. A good late-night viewing on DVD and a nice ending. Hey not all movies can be a "Lawrence of Arabia". This one was good escapist fun.

Of all the shows I've ever seen, yes even Copper Mountain, this is the worst. The CGI is 3rd grade and the acting is preschool. The airplanes, crude 3d models of the Boeing 747 and DC-9 were very "Toy-Like" and at one point the wide angle shot of the FAA headquarters had several overlays that didn't even fit into 3d space. It's an insult to intelligence on any level, and I couldn't even watch it all the way through. I didn't expect the "Aviation Terminology" to be very accurate, but this wasn't even close. Passengers picking up a missile that breached the cabin and throwing it out the hole in the side of the airplane was when I turned it off. I'm ashamed to admit I made it that far. How did this make it to Red Box?
