I was really hoping this was going to be great, and I understand that the obvious could have literally ended the movie in less than an hr. But, use your imaginations writers!!in the era we live now, This could have been played out in so many other ways that would have pulled the viewer in, vs irritated is to not enjoying the film. Hopefully you learn from this one and your next project will be more believable. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't all bad. I will say, the ending was good. But what led up to it, should have been written and played out in a way that would have really wanted the viewer to want more.

Accused is one of those films that you don't know where it's going to go till the penny drops. We see harri and his girlfriend Chloe in bed. He leaves and takes a normal journey on the train. His going to house sit for his parents and look after the cute doggo. But after an explosion happens it's not long before some scumbag online throws Harris name out and now everyone thinks his responsible. It comes down tooor harri fighting for his life against two thugs which was extremely sad to watch but glorious to see him turn the tables. It just shows the dangers of being an online piece of trash and how innocent people can get involved in something they didn't do. The actor playing harri did a very good job though and overall it was a sad but good watch.

A knot in the stomach type of watch for sure. I happily (if happily is the right word for it) watched it all the way through. Edge of my seat at times. The thing that spoiled it, was that it was really frustrating (perhaps deliberately?) to watch. Harri was repeatedly calling 999 right up to the point when he actually needed to ring it. The police would be there in minutes (I know it was a secluded house, but not in outer Mongolia). Then his neighbour says we'll have a nice cuppa tea then drive to the police station, rather than call 999? And obviously Harri agrees to this bizarre plan. Then his attacker wanders away from Harri allowing him to run away and climb to the safety of the tree house, so he can get a slightly more suitable weapon? You need a great deal of suspension of disbelief for this one folks.

I don't normally shout at my TV when watching a film but, man, this film had me in hypertension. So frustrating. Why didn't he call for the police as soon as he knew they were at his home!? Why didn't he go upstairs WITH HIS dog and lock themselves in the bathroom and call 999 as soon as he saw them spray painting the security cameras!? Can't believe he let his dog get killed. I would die for my dog. Why didn't he get his dog and go out in one of the two cars on his drive once he knew they were coming for him!? Playing hide and seek with two deranged murdering morons in your home isn't fun. So many flaws. I guess if he did anything logical like what I've suggested the film would've been half as long. So they needed to do the whole cat and mouse thing. But don't watch it before bed especially if you love dogs. Because you'll be be running on pure cortisol with a headache. Ending up on the roof slipping into the convenient swimming pool and running through the woods and ending up at his neighbours..... And sitting down and explaining the situation to her INSTEAD OF CALLING THE POLICE.... I can't take anymore. It's so drawn out and ridiculous. They literally have a cup of tea. Then the MSM announce it's him on the radio... By name... Which would never happen. Then she rats him out by flashing lights.... Then a bit more frustrating cat and mouse and the predicable ending ensues. Yawn.... All I can think about through it all is that his poor dog got needlessly killed. And the fact he still hasn't called THE F police... SMH. KMT. FFS.

Director Philip Barantini is known for the British TV show Boiling Point. Here, he's made one of the best Tubi originals I've seen, a tense thriller that feels like it could be happening right now. Harri (Chaneil Kular) leaves London to dog-sit the family dog Flynn when his parents go on vacation. He doesn't pay attention to much -- he's an animator so he devotes his mind to one thing at a time -- and is shocked when a friend calls to tell him he nearly missed a bombed on the tube. When a camera image of the suspect who set the bomb goes viral, even Harri's girlfriend jokes that it looks like him. Even worse, an old school friend posts a message that she feels proves that Harri is the terrorist. This is how easily this happens. Harri isn't a foreigner. He's lived in London his whole life. He just looks different. And it gets worse. Harry is a British citizen of South Asian descent, but he's brown. To anyone watching him -- even neighbors of his parents who have known him his whole life -- he's the other, an enemy, someone to fear. The tension builds as every message Harri reads paints him as a criminal. Even calls to the police and visits to a kindly old lady next door become nightmarish mirror sides of real life. Then the vigilantes come for him and invade his parent's home. Writers Barnaby Boulton and James Cummings have crafted a fable of how far paranoia and the bubble of doing your own research and "I'm just saying, but..." can go when pointed at a target. Kular is really great in this, an everyman faced with a night of terror that not every man would have to live through.
