Above Suspicion

I keep waiting for action or thrill, but it just never came. The film is about a man who happens to be an agent, rather than a story about the agency. The title is misleading too. There's nothing to suspect in the story.

The film has a great and true story. Much better then I expected

Definitely captured the lure with this actress, very seductive and attractive. Sad that it's a true story. I love true stories, this really delivered the feelings of all that happened as best it could for sure concerning the victim. The FBI agent not so much but yes. Don't miss out. Watch it.

I cannot understand how ANYONE could rate this any lower than 8 . Great movie with deep human exploration of society and good and bad , combined with an intertwined love story and the morality of " Good v Evil " and the difficulties of distinguishing the two . Emelia Clarkes portrayal is riveting.. Echos of Saorsie Ronan in THE LOVELY BONES

Emilia is amazing in it and although the movie wasn't my favorite, I'd watch it again for her performance alone. Interesting story tho. I bet we can expect great things from this one.

I watched this movie beacuse of emilia.. EMILIA after GOT should have chosen another movie to star in..her acting was amazing...but i felt that there was a bad choice of actors..casting should have done a better job... and then..with respect to all the "true characters", i guess what we need these times ,is depicting the life of more inspiring people... i left the movie with a sense of un-ease.. it was ok i guess...a bit over dramatic..but that's life..

I have to stop reading the Prime description lines of the movies I am about to watch. Again massive spoilers in them, which tell the viewer the ending. Still the movie worked and it was interesting to see how it built up to get to the point I expected. The main characters are not really likeable, though the FBI Agent is played broken and trying to figure a way out to become a better person. On the other hand Emilia Clarkes character has her own demons to fight and you can understand why she is struggling, both mentally and physically speaking. Having said all that, this is based on a true story, but how much of it actually happened the way we see it? It's kind of like hearsay and probaly some things that get heightened for movie and tension purposes. Overall decent, but really nothing special at all (especially if you dismiss the notion/backstory to this) - actors are really giving it their all though

Anyone else tired of seeing fake reviews for films like this one? I am. I could see some seven star ratings for this film based on the viewer. But ten stars???? Really? I gave it a five versus six star rating to offset some of the obviously fake reviews. Why do people lie about barely watchable, poor excuses for movies? This isn't the worst film made, but it definitely does not rank among the best films. When people lie about movies, are they being compensated? Or are they just filled with so many lies they seek every opportunity to tell one? Most people will not hate this film. Some will. But not the majority of viewers. It's worth a watch if you don't mind spending the money. The preview is more exciting than the film.
