I started watching this movie expecting a lot of laughter. Overall it didn't disappoint but there were a few instances where there was no logic. The first half of the movie was entertaining and time passes just like that. Harold wants to make the Christmas memorable for his father-in-law but as Kumar comes to Harold's home to give him a present sent in Harold's name the Christmas tree accidentally gets on fire and the entire movie revolves around that plot. But after sometime i had to strain myself to sit all the way till the movie gets over. There were no twists and turns. For a religious person certain scenes may be irksome but after all it is a comedy movie and we shall take it for granted. Overall the movie will not disappoint provided you don't keep your expectations high.

After its huge success in its first outing, Harold and Kumar didn't work well to continue their brilliance. Their second part was a dud and so is this one. The script is decent but what the stupidity they show with them high on weed is waste. I know that's the whole point of the movie but it MUST be funny. The fun was missing out of the stupidity and hence what we found awesome in the first part was obviously not there. Both the actors do a good job and the 3D bit was quite amazing, I must say and you will crack up in some of the scenes. Give it a watch for the love you have for Harold and Kumar.

A raunchy and stupid movie... that's filled with plenty of laughs. This is low brow stuff, but life is hard and I don't need every movie to be high art. This movie is funny and in your face with its own style. Better than the first two movies. Thomas Lennon steals the show in his scenes!

I've never been a prude, but come on. What did showing specific body parts have to do with making the movie funny? The entire movie had no real theme, except to promote over-the-top acceptance of blatant use of drugs (ecstasy, cocaine, heroin, marijuana, whatever) and sex as the main theme of all the jokes. I see a ton of movies, but I came out of this one thinking it's the worst movie I've ever seen, and I just felt sick and unhappy that I had even wasted my time and money watching it. I've been disappointed, but this was like . . . Ugh! And by the way, even though it's R-rated, there were 3 10-year old boys completely alone in this showing, which was obviously inappropriate. (What thoughts must they have been processing from this movie?) Theaters don't enforce these ratings all that well, and curiosity makes the younger kids want to see these titles even more, so how many more youngsters will see this movie?

A really funny movie. The comedy was great and as usual the acting didn't have any flaws. The movie happens a few years after the escape from jail, in the starting harold and kumar are not together, i.e. their friendship wasn't as good as it always was, but then they got together on Christmas, and they go through a lot of crazy things to find a Christmas tree. The movie contains some weird scenes which are unrealistic, but that's just the kind of movie it is. The whole series has been really great and the 3rd part is no exception to that. Eagerly waiting for a fourth part.

If you walk into this film in the right frame of mind I think you will find an enjoyable goofy romp of a picture. Neil Patrick Harris also performed the most spectacular song and dance number I have witnessed this year. The stoner movie genre has seen a steady stream on comedies in recent years. However, this is the first stoner Christmas movie I can recall seeing. The plot had plenty of twists and turns on its way through ridiculous town but that's about what can be expected of a Harold & Kumar film. Check out our full review at 3guys1movie.com

H&K Escape from G-Bay is my favorite movie of all-time, right behind Not Another Teen Movie. I waited for this movie for a long time, often hearing rumors of a third movie. Finally, I got a chance to see it and man was I disappointed. It was terrible, the 3-D effects really ruined this movie. It's almost as though they spent more time making the 3-D effects than the actually writing. I even thought the background music was terrible. As good as the first two were (I thought the 2nd was the best) I expected a lot more, thus the reason I have given it 2 stars. If I had never seen a H&K film, this would be around a 5 or 6, but on the scale of the other two films, 2 stars at most. By the way, this is my first review on this site.. I wouldn't normally write a review for a given movie, but because of my emotional attachment to the G-Bay, I had to give warning to other H&K fans. It SUCKS!

If you've seen the other Harold and Kumar movies you know what to expect. This one didn't do anything different and I would say it wasn't quite as good as the others but I still like the characters so it was worth the watch. There was a few funny moments here and there and for an hour and a half movie I can't really complain. This was basically exactly what I thought it would be.

I watched this after watching the first two parts and I thought that the wildness was lacking.Though the movie is good,the typical Harold and Kumar fun was slightly missing.I would have given it a 7/10 if that fun would have been there.The wildness is just decent according to the standards that the first two parts have set.Expected to be more of it but still a good movie to watch.
